Hmmm...
What do you guys think of this idea?
Let's have a 10 year celebration reunion in the year 2012?
Yeah, I know it's WAAAY far off, 4 years from now, but it'll give people plenty of time to scrimp together some $$$ for the trip.
It would have to be in June, to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the airtime debut of KP!
Even Kittykax might be old enough to attend this event, LOL!!!
This could be made huge, and would be a lot of work on logistics, but NOT impossible.
Ahhh, the dream of the old Kimvention might still come to fruition after all!
RD
P.S.
I never stop thinking about things like this, huh? ;D ;D ;D I know this is easy for me to say RD, since I wasn't involved in the event, but perhaps every two years? Check with everyone else, especially the VIPs. We know everyone has moved on, but this could be kind of like a family reunion or a company reunion. You'd be surprised the number might show up with enough time to plan. The Kimvention is just to big to dream, but hey it would be a great one at that.

Wow, that all looks/sounds awesome! Yes, I'm totally regretting not being able to join in on the fun. This has been one hectic past couple of weeks...my daughter's elementary school graduation & honor award ceremonies, among a whole bunch of other stuff. Plus, I've really been sick with allergies since around May 8 (then again, a change in climate might have cleared that up. Hmm...). Hmmm...

Part of the reason my not attending this time around was because of relatively short notice. Plan two years or more ahead, and you're much more likely to get out-of-state people to attend.

Hi All, To all of you that signed the Worldwide Thank You Cards for Mark, Bob & Steve. And to you that helped get it around the world and back again. Here is what all your hard work has done: RD giving Steve Loter his Card: RD giving Bob Schooley his Card: RD is so excited that the Worldwide Thank You Cards for Mark, Bob & Steve mission is now complete. Steve Loter and Bob Schooley start reading the Cards: Steve Loter and Bob Schooley continue reading the Cards: Steve Loter and Bob Schooley still continue reading the Cards: Boy, there are sure a lot of Signatures on these cards. Andy Ice takes a look at Steve Loter's Card, as well: FYI. Mark McCorkle was out of town and could not make the rsnet Lunchin, but it was given to Bob Schooley to give to Mark when Mark gets back in town. So, no worries. Redquill's Sister did the Special rsnet Lunchin Cake. I came up with the Cake design. I took two screen shots from Stop Team Go, and put them together. Redquill took the picture I made as a template to use as the Cake design. Requill helped his Sister make the cake and decorate it. A Special Thanks needs to go to Redquill and especially to his Sister. BOOYA!!! Here are the HD Pics I used from KP Fan World's Kim Possible Screen Caps for the Cake design: Combined: And this is the Pic of the Cake: We Got Steve Loter to cut the Cake. I think is was Kurt who said out loud, "That Steve Loter is the most quaified for cutting the Kim Possible Cake, since he did it to the show all of the time". Not an exact quote, but something like that. And we all laughed out loud. Here's Steve Loter cutting the Cake: Please and Thank You, Tony M. Victorino

Holy crap, they're all staring at a picture of me This looks AMAZING, morefood! I wanna know their reaction to seeing the KP boxset! Who brought that along? Are there any pictures around of the inside of the cards before they were finally given?

Hmm, I don't remember much about the KP boxed set to be honest, sorry Maybe RD, Tony or Red can answer that. We have tons of photos of the cards, but none immediately before they were given to the VIPS. :/ Anyways, glad that you liked that photo. There are a lot more in my photobucket links for May 24th. When I was in the middle of doing the last signing of the cards, Nabu, I looked up and saw Steve standing there!
I was so swept up in the moment that everyone forgot to get photos of the cards. I had to hurry up and rush to get them sealed up and ready for presentation, LOL!
We are leaving for the airport at just before 4 am local time, so we are going to try to get some sleep now. I'll comment a lot more when I get Phil safely to the airport on his way home.

That's cool. Btw, did you hire out the restaurant or something?! Cause it looks like you've taken over the whole thing in setting up the projector, table and BBQ sign!

I reserved the entire section of the upstairs 'loft' part of the restaurant for this function. It didn't cost us any extra, thankfully. The staff at Don Cuco was VERY gratious and helpful, and we took good care of them when the time came to pay up.
I do wish some more of the people who RSVP'd in the affirmative had shown up, but I think we did ok. More RS members would have been wonderful. I'm thinking that some people are kicking themselves for not going now, but no names, LOL!
Phil and I are up and kicking now in the wee hours, and are getting ready to head out to LAX.
*YAWN!!!*

Ah man - I wish I could have managed it. Is there any chance at all of a Utah gathering? It was nice seeing the fan videos too. I may have a fan/flash video of my own once my current fanfiction is all wrapped up. Even the potential of it possibly maybe being viewed by 'show folk' would be a blast.... Thanks for sharing all of this RD - I certainly hope it's NOT the end... Keeping the fan art/fiction section alive at least - Slyrr

A grass-roots level RS member gathering is gaining momentum as I type this, Slyrr. There are members ALL over as we all know well. There are a few members working on meetings back East, in Texas, central USA...
The possibilities do stagger the mind!
There is the concept of having a REALLY BIG RS.NET function and gathering here in LA down the line. And I DO mean down the line.
I'd like to see a TON of us get together for the 10 year anniversary of the first broadcast of KP.
That would make it... uhhh, let's see...
June, 2012! OMG!
That gives us just over 4 years to save money and make plans to do this!
Let alone keep everyone we can together and the board alive and kicking...
Ahhh, when I dream, at least I dream BIG! I mentioned the concept to Mr. Schooley at the lunch, and he thought it wouldn't be a bad idea. Bob is such a sweetheart toward his fans, though.
If this was to happen, I'd work my tail off to get the ENTIRE old staff back together, down to the guy that swept the floor in the old studio at night, LOL!
WOW, what a great thing that would be!

And that might be enough notice for me to undertake the journey! That does sound like fun! Wish I could have gotten in on some of that swag from the Disney wrap-up party. They mentioned acutions/raffles/contests for some of it, but I never heard much beyond that. Nice seeing glimpses of it here and there! THey needed villain action figures...

Oh, agreed!
I'd have more than 1 Duff figurine, fer sure, LOL!
The bad news is I'm just about clean out of stock, Slyrr. It's all been disbursed, or is spoken for.
*sigh*
Gad, I wish I was a billionaire. Everyone would be packed with KP goodies, LOL!

Hi All, I did give out to all who attended the rsnet Lunchin, including the VIPs, each a Disney's Kim Possible Spinner Pin. I also gave to Steve Loter a Disney's Rufus Hidden Mickey Pin, as well. I knew he was a Huge Rufus Fan, and was glad he make it to the Lunchin so I could give him that Pin. Steve seemed very surprized that Disney would actually make a Rufus Pin. FYI. I'm into the Disney Pin Trading, and bought and traded for those Pins I gave out. It was my way to saying Thanks to everyone there. Here are some Pictures of the Pins I gave out: Disney's Kim Possible Spinner Pin (Front and Back) Disney's Rufus Hidden Mickey Pin Please and Thank You, Tony M. Victorino
