As promised earlier, here's the current sitch...
The charity drive thus far has collected a SUB-total of...
Bear in mind that I say this is a SUB total, because there are still a few donations that are on the way directly to CHOC, and it may be as much as a week to 10 days or so for me to get a solid number from Ms. Van Tol at CHOC... I'll keep you guys apprised of that as updates start coming in, OK?
The drive is really officially over in about 4 hours. A couple of folks have expressed that they will really miss the drive, and it was one of the best and most exciting things that has happened to RS.NET in a long while. I really thank those who said that, and tend to think that way. YES, it may be hard to top, but STAY TUNED, Gang!
Magical things tend to happen here, MUWAHAAAHAAAA!
We have enough do-re-mi to cover the cost of 5 bricks, and again, as promised, here is the breakdown on exactly WHAT is going on the bricks...
First, the concrete rules are, we are limited to 3 lines per brick, and 17 SPACES on each line. So, that means that includes letters (They will be in all CAPITALIZED, it's in the rules) numbers, punctuation AND s p a c e s.
This means I had to do some thinking and a lot of usage of SCRATCH paper to figure this out...
Here's what I came up with:
Brick 1
KIM POSSIBLE
FROM HER FANS AT
RONSTOPPABLE.NET
Brick 2
RON STOPPABLE
FROM HIS FANS AT
RONSTOPPABLE.NET
Brick 3
BOB SCHOOLEY AND
MARK MC CORKLE
CREATORS OF KP
Brick 4
LOTER, BLOCK, AND
BAILEY, THE FAB
DIRECTORS OF KP
Brick 5
FOR THE WRITERS
AND CREATIVE CREW
OF 'KIM POSSIBLE'
I hope you guys approve of these inscriptions, as they pretty much were chosen by YOU, the fans. ;D
It was definitely a pleasure and an honor to once again be of service to our beloved message board, Gang. As an oldish TV commercial for a beverage once said years ago...
"Thank You for your support."
I'd also love to thank our chairpersons and biggest cheerleaders,
Ashley Benlove. I love your pom-poms, Ash!
THANK YOU!!!
Nabusan. GEEZ! WHAT can I say to you, my friend? Time, money, artwork, late nights at the desk... You have a BFF here, Nabu!
I hope to meet you someday!
The fabulous Fusion Fox, supplier of ideas, the creator of CHOC banners, and cheerleader extrordinaire. It wouldn't have been the same without you, Matt! *SUPER HUGGLE!!!*
Wallaceb, Treasurer and tech guru, THANKS for talking me out of going on a ski trip to Aspen with the money, LOLOLOL!
JUST KIDDING, guys!
But Brian was actually the one that kicked off the original Charity Drive back before I picked it up and ran with it... the paperwork was HIDEOUS, but I got it done for ya, Bro!!!
WE DID IT!!!
Bless you guys for your help and love in this endeavor!!!
Well, I gots a special shout-out to one ROCKIN' young man, that helped with this in so many ways.
You guys know him as Morefood2001, but I know him as a NEW best friend and confidant. ;D
TAKE a cyber bow, Phil! You deserve the accolades, as do all of the participants in this wonderful charity drive that was just a barrel of fun to do for us all, the RS.Net Kimmunity.
I thank you ALL for your love and support for the children at CHOC, and I'm going to a peaceful nights' rest tonight with prayers on my lips for all of my family out there from the board...
Well done, my brothers and sisters...
Well Done!
