In response to Disney's plan to turn Toon Disney into Disney XD, I say we have only one course of action. I believe the time has come to reformat our organization. We have a new goal now. In addition to saving shows like Kim Possible and American Dragon: Jake Long, we must save one of the best t.v. channels that has been around for nearly a decade. We need to save Toon Disney! Who's with me?!!!

This reformat has already begun. Trust me, I've seen reformats like this many a time, nothing ever changes.

From the sound of it, the formats are already being changed. What's the point of trying to prevent something that's already begun? Plus, from what I recall Toon Disney isn't 'gone'... I think it's just been moved to another channel, hasn't it?

I may sound like a traitor to some, but my question is, how does this effect/affect Kim Possible, yes ratings on that are key, but from what I've heard and seen, do they show enough for us anyways that often now a days anyways other then KP marathons, the Fight For Five isn't affected unless we wanted the newer episodes to premiere on Toon Disney. Or is it? Besides Toon Disney had already changed, when they added Jetix.

Oh would you lighten up. It's Disney. What, you think they're going to start pumping out Dragonball Z and Naruto knockoffs?
They're going after the male audience in the same way they always have. With clever, humourous cartoons. Think along the lines of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, or the Disney saturday morning golden age: Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, Talespin; even the Little Mermaid. Whatever they come up with will probably be Kim Possible with a male protagonist. And you'll love it all the same.
I say no more lame live actions shows trying badly to use cartoon humour. I'd rather watch the gardening channel! Give me The Incredibles: The Series. I loved that movie, why haven't they made a sequal?

You're wrong on that account, if they were to do that with anything guess what it would be called, Toon Disney, as thats what it used to be.

Oh. That's what they called it. Yeah, we don't get a Disney channel here so to me it was always just the Saturday morning line up.
Point still stands. How extreme could their reformat be? I mean XD? That's just a gimick to make it sound cool. It means nothing.

It's not a gimmick, if you read the link you would understand that.

Blast it, I know I saw that link somewhere around here. Did it disappear, am I losing my mind?
Had a quick look three days ago. Moment I saw 'Phineas and Ferb' was an attempt to win back male viewers, threat dissipated. Not brilliant show, but not a threat.
If that's the type of ideas they have to win back a young tweenage male audience, then they have a better shot sticking with Kim.
