Now it's time to make an update my style, since Sale only seems to post pictures of just me. Here are a few ones still from the camping at Killbear Provincial Park. This is us (and the dogs), just being lazy. ^____^ At Killbear. This day we canoed at the beach until we reached a small rocky island in the center of the beach. Then we took pictures there. One day we went to the town of Parrysound, which is aprox 30 min away from Killbear and took this cruise called Island Queen Cruise, that travels around the Thirty Thousand Island region of the Georgian Bay. It was pretty cool. Raawr, smexay! ^___^ <3 At the beach. At Killbear. SHORTS! RAWR! ^________________^!! This is back at Adam's house. Just cute pics of us. <3!! At Canada's Wonderland. This weekend we finally visited Toronto. Only one day though. Adam wanted to leave earlier than expected. Ohh well, I guess I'll have to see the rest of Toronto next time I come over to Canada. I'd also like to point out that Toronto WASN'T nearly as bad as Sale made it look. It was normal... just like any other big city. Don't listen to him... he's biased. xD Toronto is pretty much alright. lol CN Tower in the background! Inside the CN Tower, before taking the elevator up. We're standing besides a smaller model of the tower. There was a section in the top of the tower called the Glass Floor, which was transparent and you could see the outter part of the tower below your feet, as if you were standing in the air. Pretty awesome. Here I took a picture of a mirror that was above us and was reflecting our image and the image of the Glass Floor at our feet. And here we had reached the tallest point in the tower where people could go in, the Skypod. And now some pictures from a sushi restaurant called Real Sushi at the St. Catharines downtown. We have been there two times now. The place is awesome, it's an 'All You Can Eat' kind of place for sushi.... teh omg! ^____^ *rejoyce* (They also have other kinds of non-sushi food, like chicken teriyaki). Hmm a cone of sushi! The second time I was there. (Notice the top I'm wearing is different). Tempura shrimp, yum! Adam actually tried the sushi! I can't believe it. It must be love... lol. It makes you do crazy things. xD ^_____^ Yummeh teh sushi. (That's the second time we were there). He also had some chicken teriyaki and a spicy chicken noodle soup. Yum! ^__^

Well it's not like I forced him to try the sushi, he decided to do it. But yeah, it probably had something to do with the fact that I was there. xD

The top of the CN Tower has a great view. Methinks you weren't exactly focusing on the city when you took that pic...

You two do make a good-looking couple. Any plans for future visits? Maybe Tsaalyo should visit Gaby's homeland

I've written a summary of the whole trip for you all. In the first couple of days we went around the city, showing her around. There's a river behind my house, the 12 Mile Creek, and it has a hiking trail all along it. I don't know how long the trail is as i've never walked it in its' entirety, but my guess would be around the "12 miles" mark. We went to the body of toxic chemicals and invading fish known as Lake Ontario to watch the sunset, light refracting off the pollution, and that was quite pretty. Just like a sunset in Los Angeles. We went to the St. Catharines Museum, which is mostly about the Welland Canal system. Then we went to see Mirrors, which i'm fairly sure Gaby wanted to see not because of the plot, but because her other boyfriend, Jack Bauer, plays the lead. The movie was pretty cool, except for the first five minutes. Nothing at all makes me squeamish, except for throat cutting and the idea of death by bleeding out, especially from the jugular vein and especially if the blood loss is so severe it spurts from heart pumping. And what do you think happens in the first five minutes of Mirrors? Yeah, exactly. TO THE LETTER. -______- We also went to Niagara Falls, spending 14 hours there, and did just about everything there is to do. After a couple days, we went with my parents to carriage hills resort, which is nice despite the fact that it's so isolated it reminds me of Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow. We went to the driving range, both beating my mom in distance despite it being our first times and her playing for about four years. We went to this treetop trekking thing, which was basically an obstacle course in the trees, walking on wires while climbing through hoops, etc. Plenty of ziplines, including the longest one in Ontario, so that was fun. Yay Joanna Dark! We also went to a pool there, which might be fun as a kid but now I realize just how boring it is. Also, how are there people who can't swim? The human body naturally floats, just move your arms. After a couple days of that we went straight to Canada's Wonderland to ride the deathtraps. Rollercoasters are fine, but what I like is speed. None of the coasters there focus on that. They all are based on climbing a massive hill and then falling, which is fine, but they don't do it fast enough. Rather than being pressed back against your seat during the downhill part, you're pretty much in freefall, resting against the body restraint. Loops are fun because the centripetal force keeps you in your seat, and I don't get motion sickness, but of course none of the coasters really focus on those either. It's all about simulated freefall. Ick. At least the Behemoth has a massive hill which does go fast enough to press you back, so that was fun. After that, we were home for a day, and we went to see The Clone Wars. It could have been better, but it totally blew episodes 1 and 2 out of the water, because it was actually about Star Wars. Not politics, not love, not a picnic amongst space cows, WAR. It was near-nonstop action throughout, so I loved it. I can't wait to see the show they're making based off this. Afterwards, for almost a week, we went to Killbear Provincial Park with my parents for camping. I refer to this trip as SAW: Canada. Every night while we were there it dropped 15 degrees below the normal temperature. SIX CELCIUS!! It wouldn't have been that bad, except for the fact that our heater broke. It didn't just break, mind you, it short circuited severely and shot fireballs at us. Here's where the SAW part comes in. The heater is short circuiting, and the fan is blowing fire at us, threatening to set the tent ablaze. The switch is on the far side of the heater, as is the outlet. To turn it off and save yourself, you must go towards the blowing fire and unplug it, or the tent will set on fire and you will be burned alive. Let the game begin. And the ironic ending? That night, it will be cold enough to see your breath. Aside from that, we did general camping stuff. We also went on this Island Queen tour, which takes us all around Georgian Bay to look at islands and stuff. There was a seagull that followed the boat the ENTIRE WAY, keeping perfect pace with it, and so close you could almost touch it. That was fun. When we got home, we fanned out from St. Catharines in concentric circles. We went to some nearby towns to look at and buy stuff, and even went to Toronto. God's blind spot. Canada's black heart. The ninth ring of hell. One in five murders in all of Canada occur there. We saw a guy having a drug induced seizure right there on the street, spasming and foaming at the mouth, and the next day when we got home we saw on the news that six people passed out in the subway, due to a toxic gas that they couldn't identify. They tested for carbon monoxide and everything else they could test for, and no conclusive results. Toxic gas in the subway... waddya know, there's something else taken from SAW! I mean, I didn't want to go to Toronto. I knew it would be bad, I knew we'd see drugs and crime, I was very skeptical. But this? Toxic gas in the subway that nobody can identify? This exceeded even MY expectations. That doesn't even happen in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela. I've done two reports on the city, so I can tell you that over 1000 people disappear a month there. But I guess Toronto read my report and said "1000 people disappear a month? Ha! I can top that!" And Toronto did. People are dropping half dead in the subway and nobody knows why. Toronto wins. </rant> I dislike Toronto. We went to a sushi place a lot, putting Gaby on cloud 9 since she loves eating raw fish with sticks. But there was some decent stuff there so I was able to eat too. We also went to KFC, since the Spicy Big Crunch sandwich is Canadian only. Too bad for you all, since it's fanfreakintastic. It's an entire chicken breast, and it must be breaded like eight times, because it produces a crunch like you're eating uncooked macaroni. It's also spicy, juicy, and awesome. Also, New York Fries, to eat poutine a lot, since that too is Canadian. Fries, cheese curds, and obscenely hot beef gravy. Yum. Gaby went back to Venezuela yesterday, and here we are. Fun trip. ^_^
