Haven't seen any like this in a while, so I decided "what the hell'. The point of the game is to guess the character and game the line from the post before you was, and if you get it correctly from the poster, you post up your own quote. Pretty simple really. Like if someone were to post:
"All your base, are belong to us"
The person next on the board would post CATS from Zero Wing. And if he's correct, he can post his own quote on the board. But before we start here are a few rules, don't answer the questions, even if you know it, if you don't plan on putting up your own quote afterward. It's just ruining the fun. Second, try not to cheat by using a quote that's used more than once in the same series or from a movie it's based on (Like "May the Force be with you"), it's just not fair cause it's to broad of question. And that's all the rules. Hope this board lasts a few days before it dies, which seems to be common with my boards. Anywho I'll start off first.
"The boy believed you could be saved. But he didn't know what burns within your soul. And in your heart, you know, we are the same."

I know this! It's from Word of Warcraft, right?
Okay my turn,
"I don't count poison darts and triggered entombment your average child's tea party. I feel we should lend this some respect."

I never understand these.
Google-ing any of the lines usually brings up what it's from instantly. LOL.
I doubt anyone is ever really honest.

Correct, but next time try to name the character. ;D Don't want to make it too difficult do you? Video games are different from movies. The first time I see a sequence, I'll watch it but after that I'll hit X or start becasuse I want to keep playing. Not saying all people feel the same way but if you want that much info, you'll probably have a lot of cheaters.

I think naming the character is a way to keep people from cheating - and since i noticed Googling the one you got right doesn't GIVE a character name, then it makes sense. If you can remember a quote from a game, you can kind of get an idea of what's going on in the scene, or remember it enough (since you remembered the quote), and obviously give a name or at least the role of the character and why they said what they said.

You are correct in that, naming the character does put the challange in the game. I've never actually played WoW, but I didn't know Googling the quote did not show certain details because my friend IRL has that line in his sig on Gmail (and a few others from comics and movies) and I asked him what it was from just last week. Honestly I thought I read the rules but as you can see by the time of the post (3:08am) I was subject to overlook the naming the character part due to slap happiness. Thanks for explaining it to me.
