I've heard that Disney will be having another show premiere come Feburary I'm concerned about what will happen to KP when it airs. The airing time might be taken back even further at night, or even worse, be removed all together! Does anyone feel this way besides me?

Depends what the airing time is like, they might take another show off completely and put KP in an earlier slot. I don't think it will be taken off in the UK.

Its possible however there are many various shows that may or may not lose their slot, such as ADJL, KP, Brandy and Mr. Whiskers, Recess, Lilo and Stitch, and my personal favorite the Emperors New School. The best hope is the one with lowest ratings will be canned and programs will most likely be shuffled around to accomodate the new change.

Well, it's sad, but if Disney gets new series, shows, they will have to fit in their schedule at the expense of some old ones.

Disney will never realize they need to bring back old shows, if they did shows like Darkwing Duck, Ducktales, Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers, Talespin, and other old 90's animation classics would be replayed, but the fact is that live shows are the dominant force. I find it very hard to believe that these shows will fail as two of them feature very popular stars that the kiddies will watch even if its not quality stuff. J.O.N.A.S and Sonny with a Chance will be ratings hits.

It's not to destroy, its just saying how stubborn Disney is in its ways, and their current approach. This isn't opinion this is what Disney is laying out for us.
Also hopefully this won't affect the late night schedule, it may just reduce other old shows chances at having better times.

No my friend, a comment like that is a sign of someone being realistic, which you should take note of. Its these kinds of comments that are gonna kill what hope the FFF has left: All of which will be garbage and probably canned quickly we hope. And you guys wonder why Disney execs are starting to get annoyed and why it seems like you never make progress. You really expect anyone to listen to you when your own people are throwing down attitudes and down right foolish comments like that? LOL

Being worried is normal eddybob. Disney has a direction right now as do other networks and channels. There not really interested in the fan's inputs, but then again will see how all this plays out in 2009. Disney fell once before and could fall again.
Disney was built on animation and that's the legacy Disney must never forget. Kim Possible and American Dragon were two shows that should have never been cancelled in the first place.
But Disney executives felt these shows needed to go to make room for more mindless live action and strictly cheesy and bad acting live action, which they can sell to young people who'll eat it up, as in the case of Hanna Montana and whatever that Wizard live action show is.
It's all about dollars at Disney now, not about the vision that Walt Disney once had, I just hope Walt isn't rolling in his grave seeing what's become of his name and his studio.

Don't give up guys, not for anything! Even if we're doing this ten years from now! There were at least 20-30 years between Cinderella and her sequels. Somehow, we WILL convince them to let us go back and visit our old friends!

I for am not worried, I have pasted the stage of worrying and remain filled with a hopeful outlook. I will concede that worry is necessary; for it motivates one to action but it should not be dwelt on in a negative way or meant to be used by others to sway our convictions on the want of a fifth season and beyond.

Still, I'm sure KP's airing time is going to be affected when those new shows start airing. Let's hope that it won't be a negative effect, I don't think I wanna stay up till after 3:00 to see Kim.

One question that occurs is: how many people in the original target demographic would be watching at 130 AM? Seems like they've set it in a slot more attuned to college students returning an evening in the bars. I know that I can't usually watch, since I am normally at work at 7AM and require a modicum of sleep to function properly. Sounds like they are pretty much going after the collegient demographic.

We don't know what will happen for now, KP might be brought backward to the last slot on Disney, or even brought forward a slot, it depends when Disney decide to show the new shows, how long they last, and what shows are cancelled. In my opinion, KP will still be on Disney by the end of the year, that's when I will worry. That doesn't mean its going to happen though. Anyway, is KP not on other channels? Like childrens mourning shows and so on. There is a show on in the UK and is still pretty concentrated on the show. This thread is creating some negative atmosphere, so i suggest replying back when they decide to cancel KP completely.

The times for EST are 1:30 and 4:30 am just the right time for the NJ bar and NY bars hours and in time for those who get up for work that early and want to watch something other than the farm report

Looking at the newer series of last year, only one of them is played during the nighttime hours, most likely one or two shows from last year and this year will become night time slots, most likely at the earlier hours. The suite life on deck will probably replace the suite life of zach and cody which will probably still be running on the weekdays and probably on Disney XD. The other one or two may replace Life With Derek, or another show. Kp has a 1 on like 10 chance of not being shown anymore, and I highly doubt from ratings that KP will lose, the show most likely to lose is the bomb Brandy and Mr. Whiskers.
