Oh this is mature.
Honestly everyone, get over yourselves.
And for the record, I'm playing Switzerland on this one. If it works it works, if it doesn't, it was already over, anyway.

Long post, so bear with me. First, a story. On the faraway world of Krynn live a dwarvish race called the Aghar. They are an exceeding simple people barely capable of free thought. Their speech is very crude and their culture even cruder. They have only one proverb: "Life like stew." This proverb applies to everything encountered, i.e. "Mountains like stew." "River like stew." etc. Unfortunately, there was a time (seven months ago last Tuesday) when a gully dwarf with a philosophical turn of mind came up with the profound reflection, "Stew like life." This threw the entire Aghar intellectual community into turmoil. Factions and schisms and splinter groups were rife. (Mainly from having been left out in the sun too long.) Entire families were split, some going with "Life like stew" and others favoring "Stew like life". Blood was shed one night when the Stewers attacked the Lifers for having called them "Goldfunger lompchuters!" and making insulting gestures with their feet. Matters grew worse. Factions and schisms and splinter groups broke off from the main factions and schisms and splinter groups. Now there were those who stated firmly, "Stew!" and still others who believed devoutly, "Life!" (A small minority in favor of "like" flourished for a time but died out for lack of controversy.) To this date, the matter is still unresolved, and travelers through Aghar country are warned neither to eat the stew nor philosophize about it. I guess this is a good a thread as any to talk about my views on KP being renewed or not. Would I watch a fifth season? Sure. I love Kim Possible. it's a great show. However, if that doesn't happen I'd still be pleased. I would've been pleased if there wasn't a fourth season as well. The number of seasons doesn't change the fact that I think it's a good show. I don't need new episodes all the time to love it. Rewatching old episodes is perfectly fine. I'm not figting against a fifth season happening, but I'm not about to fight for it either. The season four finale left me feeling satisfied. It wasn't an epic ending, on scale with So The Drama, but it was still good. It was a perfectly respectalbe end to a great show. That said, KP did jump the shark with STD. I don't think anything in season four was able to top it. And no, that doesn't mean season four was bad. I'm only saying STD presented us with a KP adventure so grand, epic and filled with a sense of immediate danger that it topped everything that had and would come to pass. The threat of the Lorwardian invasion is supposed to be even greater, but since it's not presented in the same epic, cinematic style it almost comes off as a walk in the park. And after two big finales like that I'm not sure I could feel excited about a season five episode, simply because of high the bar has been raised. I said I'd watch a fifth season, but I'm not sure I'd get the same feeling out of it. I think it would feel like I've seen it all before. I'm sure I'd enjoy it, but in the same way I enjoyed the TNMT movie. It's a decent, movie (certainly better than Turtles 3), but it had all the same ingredients I've seen before. There wasn't really anything that made it feel excititing, fresh and new. Entertaining, yes. Exciting, no. I also feel like asking for yet another season is being kind of greedy. We've already done it once and the Disney executives were gracious enough to give us what we wanted, even though they didn't have to. The time and money that went into the fourth season could have been spent on making an entirely new show that would have attracted more/new viewers. We should really be grateful for what we got instead of demanding more. Now this is the first honest candor we've seen in this entire exchange. I suggest, Mr. Dippy, that like the Aghar who favored "like", you found an entirely new movement called the ITF, the Indifference To Five, for those who feel neither the need to push for more Kim nor prevent it. Though in all seriousness, I really do appreciate your cool-headed headed opinion. Seriously, I really don't see this FAF as an impediment to the FFF. I don't see any of these guys sending in emails, postcards, or other things to Disney et al saying "Please, no more Kim!" This movement is meant only as a parody of the FFF, and I'm sorry to say, There's a lot to parody. I have seen FFFers send letters to both Disney and the press that are so poorly spelled, poorly structured, and/or poorly argued that they look more like the ravings of meth addicts than fan letters. It really wouldn't kill us to prosecute this campaign a bit smarter. We've angered far more members of the press than we've gained the support of and those are just the ones we know about. Becoming a nuisance to Disney is all part of bucking the corporation, but becoming a nuisance to those outside the movement is no way to gain allies. We really could stand to think things out more once in a while, Especially if we want positive results any time soon.
