Long post, so bear with me. First, a story. On the faraway world of Krynn... Best post so far. You should write a book of fables. XD Since 2007, long before all this E-drama, I've considered myself neutral. The fact that there were actually people going for a season 5 almost even before season 4 had ended gave me a brief WTF moment, but then I basically just ignored it. I don't give a crapsack whether KP comes back or not. Of course I'd be excited if it came back later and it turned out to be great, but the point is that for me, it doesn't have to. If it comes back, longer down the road somewhere, maybe in a new format, I'll say, okay, and take a look at it-- and if it sucks, then I won't be devastated. Maybe I'll rant a bit for good measure, but it will be easily forgotten. If it's good, then I'll be pleasantly surprised and I'll consider watching it. It's not important enough for me to actually fight for. It's just a show, even if it's a very good one. Before I know it, I'll be on to the next fandom, but that doesn't mean I won't like KP anymore, whether it's renewed or not. It will probably always be one of my favorite cartoon shows. Go fight for starving kids or something instead. They need it.

I'm glad I'm not the only person vocal with that stance. (Honestly, I defend the FAF because the FFF is obnoxious and bad at debating.)

Debating? If it wasn't for The Fight For Five even those two seasons of Kim Possible wouldn't be on DVD and without the Fight For Five the next time you'll see all four seasons of Kim Possible will be when? Seeing how long do you think it took before Dark Wing Duck was released on DVD? And Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, I haven't even seen that on DVD let alone Gummi Bears or Bonkers? But hey there's no one out there fighting to get that, or protesting to make it happen like the Fight For Five for Kim Possible is. Same with Kim Possible merchandise. The Fight For Five is more then just a debate, it's a force to get Disney executives to remember that Kim Possible deserves better, the fans of Kim Possible deserve better.

Is this documented somewhere, by anyone in a position to make such decisions? Else tis but conjecture and possibly a linking of unrelated events.

It'll be when they've already planned on actually doing it. Sometimes it's good to hear the truth.

This just shows that some people are giving up on the fight for five.

This just shows that some people are giving up on the fight for five. Not necessarily so... some never trusted in the FFF to begin with.

If they dont want a season five in my opinion they should not be on this website. I have nothing against people who want a fifth season, if they want to fight for one then by all means, be my guest. I have nothing against the FFF or anyone in it, but it's when people start going around making statements like yours that I have a problem with. I'll just leave it at that, please don't disrespect anyone by saying that they don't belong here. If they enjoy the show then they're more than welcome to stay with all of us.

I don't think FAF is really necessary because I highly doubt KP is ever coming back. I don't really care either way about what happens to the series, so I'm not taking sides, but to me this feels more like trying to provoke FFF supporters into stupid fights than being any kind of serious movement. Statement: I couldn't agree more. I believe that the FFF are exaggerating a few aspects, but I also believe the FAF are purposely getting on the FFF's bad side. Whatever the FFF do, they FAF are always their to get on their nerves like a bad itch. Conclusion: In the end, I find it all very childish and immature. Honestly.

I'm kinda with the OP on this. I couldn't believe people were actively campaigning against future seasons/movies for the 2 cancelled Stargates. I could understand their points, especially for SG-1, where season 8 finished on a really good ending, meaning s9 and s10 had to "reinvent" the show.
It applies here as well. I can understand if someone doesn't want the show to continue after graduation. If Kp never got another movie/episode/whatever, that ending to me, is a very good end. Lord knows how many other shows don't get that opportunity.
What I don't understand is being a "stop having fun guy". Live and let live. If you don't want S5, don't participate in a fight for five, or don't watch any S5 if it happens, but fighting against the people who want the show to continue? That's low. In my opinion.

Obviously people that really don't want a fifth season are undermined compared to those who do, gosh. And the term "fight" isn't really fitting, it just flowed with the other "i'm for this cause" names that are all over fandoms. We're not actually in a battle and going out of our way to make it not happen. Should be like... We Think That Kim Possible Doesn't Need Five Seasons, It Ran Its Course And Can End On A High Note but WTTKPDNFSIRICACEOAHN is a little lengthy.

How has the FAF prevented the FFF from doing their tasks in any way?

Looks like we have ourselves a Kim Possible version of the Civil War. The Union Army (North) is represented by the Fight For Five movement, while the Confederacy (South) is represented by the Fight Against Five movement.
(Joins Union Army)
