I'd like to be the first to introduce you to the new and improved FFF. You may previously have known the Fight for Five as the fighters for a fifth season of Kim Possible, but things have changed quite a bit with us. The best way we can influence Disney into producing another season of Kim Possible is by being organized, respectful, and having fun doing it! We no longer will spam e-mails to Disney. Instead we will have one organized day, that is planned the day before (it's looking like the 7th of each month will be the day we send our e-mails), that we send one personalized e-mail to Disney executives that can make the change. No use sending them to people that have no say in it after all. It's is best if we do it this way because I want you to think if you were to see the same email in your in-box ten times what would be your first instinct? It's spam right? What they will notice is if they receive several e-mails from different people that are their own words instead of from a copied and pasted script. So I'm asking now that we write our own personalized e-mails when we send them out. If you're thinking that it is too much work or you'll have too many grammatical and spelling errors then send someone in the FFF a message. One thing I would like to do is have some editors for the e-mails going to Disney. The better our e-mails look the better we will be perceived as by Disney. So if anyone would like to help let me know. Another thing I would like to point out is the importance of letters and postcards. Though e-mailing is important the act of sending a letter or postcard is superior. For Disney to actually physically see letters from all the Kim Possible fans will do far more then e-mails. Letters should become our main focus for the fight for a fifth season.
Prior to the day that we decide we will let Disney know we want another season of Kim Possible we will organize. We'll talk about what the subject of our letters, faxes, and e-mails should be. Making sure to thank Disney for the four seasons of Kim Possible they have already given us. We will talk about reasons we think that Kim Possible should go on for another season. Planning is just as important as the action of actually doing this all. Another thing I would like to do is organize a central place for all people wishing to fight for another season. It can be anywhere (RSnet, ACC, the FFF forum). I just want a place people can go to find out information and talk about the fight. That way you don't have to go to three sites and fit all the bits and pieces together. I'm not saying we can only be in one place, but I would like us to a have base area. We can do this by voting. After all without organization we are just an mob of people spewing things at Disney. So we are going to keep this organized.
Lastly we should all remember that we are doing this for FUN! I'm not going to sit here and force you to write letters or e-mails. I want you to do it because you love the Kim Possible series and want it to come back. We should be laughing, joking, and having a good time while doing this. This show brought us joy and laughter after all. This shouldn't feel like another job, but an activity that you do in your spare time because you believe in it and have fun doing it. Another thing to note is from now on being part of the FFF means you must show respect for the people around you. Just because another person doesn't want another season of Kim Possible or shows it a different way doesn't mean they are any less of a fan of Kim Possible. People show their support for the series in many ways you have to realize! Sometimes they draw KP, make a fan video, write fanfic, or even just watch KP. All of this shows Disney that the show is still quite popular. So you shouldn't be saying they are a lesser fan to you but an equal. You both love the show after all that's why you are here. So remember that! Remember that your actions can reflect on the entirety of the FFF so make sure you represent us well!
I hope with this improvement to the mission statement of the FFF will bring some old and new members to us. This was meant to clarify the new direction of the FFF. We have a goal that we want to reach while having fun. So I hope people who have once left or never considered joining find it in their hearts to rejoin and fight for another season!
Sincerely,
Joe / Jaksun
P.S. Please post any comments or thoughts please.
