I love it. XD And thanks for not using HSM or something like that for the music. Classy song which fits the video very well. Nice and upbeat. LOL at the extreme close up of DNAmy at 'love like that' near the end-- perfectly hitting the beat.  DNAmy was so cute skipping and dancing about. MF was sorta hot with the wet hair. |

Yeah, my memory isn't always the best, but I don't really remember ever going 'ugh, blagh, DNamy' etc. XD I do, however, remember making at least one or two posts in the past expressing my surprise at all the flack she gets. I think part of why I like the character is because I have a big soft spot for mad scientists in general-- Dr. Drakken, Doc Horrible, Frankenstein, Dr. Evil, Dr. Frank-N-Furter, Dexter, Washu, Doc Venture-- the list goes on, and you can see it here. Drakken, DNAmy and Dementor are all listed there. I especially like those who are nuts enough to mess around with living beings instead of just robots and super weapons and such, which DNAmy does. You know, we really need more female mad scientists. ;D I actually have one story where the prologue is all about DNAmy. I'll see if I can actually publish it within this millennium.  But I must admit, although I don't think she's ugly, I'm kinda itching to make a drawing where I give her a makeover. Nothing more than she'd do herself, though. Just some very subtle things. It'd be nice to see her in some different clothes and maybe have her comb her hair. I wonder if anybody's ever tried drawing her without the 'dot eyes', considering Monique, for instance, lost her dot eyes in season 2, as far as I remember-- which wasn't too jarring of a change, IMO. I wonder what it would look like. |

I like this fanart of her because her hair is done somewhat differently and she's wearing completely different colours. Then there's also the fact that her voice actress is just gorgeous and looks lovely with her somewhat round form. Amy could pull of something like that. Wow. I never noticed that Monique's eyes changed. It would be interesting to see Amy with different eyes, and it would certainly make drawing her easier. It's a little difficult to show emotion on her face when her eyes are just dots. Okay, I've babbled enough for now. ;D |

Of course, I must admit I can sort of understand it if somebody would find her cutesy attitude annoying. Normally, I'd hate that, but Amy somehow pulls it off. Maybe because she's nuts and "evil". Was it the reason your original account was deleted? I'm guessing my account was deleted because of my Futurama videos and the Ren and Stimpy one I put up. I didn't put the Weird Science one back up because I wasn't pleased with it. It was too long, dragged on and the timing/synching of the lyrics wasn't very good. Evil Gal Blues, however, was one of my faves, but was deleted because I'd used a Dinah Washington song, and whoever owned the rights didn't like that. Drop me a line if you do. But OF COURSE, if you aren't hot you are pretty much forbidden having contacts with the opposite sex. Ever. Apparently, non-hot people can at most quietly sit in a corner and hope that someone will show them interest at some point. And if it happens, they have to be all grateful and behave like said person was a god or something for showing interest on someone who so clearly doesn't deserve it  I think it's that kind of atitude that ended up making me appreciate the character. That, and Vampirenaomi's writing. Mostly the latter XD Yay, Maslow! *purposely ignoring the "studies" part because it's what she should be doing right now* |

That sorta helps. I would probably find Amy incredibly annoying if I knew her in real life, but she's fun as a fictional character. I think it was how she saved Drakken in "Partners" that made me like her. Excellent! I read the latest chapter of S!S!S! as soon as you put it up, but I'm dreadfully behind on my review schedule. Drakken had dot eyes? When? Where? I'm starting to think I'm utterly stupid for not noticing these things. I think blue eyes might look lovely on Amy, but I have nothing against brown either. |

Yep, he did have dot eyes when he was younger:  I still wonder why they gave his younger self dot eyes while he had completely different eyes as an adult. Maybe it was the glasses to make them look like that...or else I'm just being too picky XD |

I tend to not notice an awful lot of stuff when I'm not really interested Yup, we did see her without those:  Nope, looks like it's not the glasses. ...you're right, you know. Okay, I couldn't resist. I took Kim's eyes, coloured them blue and put them on Amy.  ... I think she's cuter with the dot eyes. Or maybe someone can do a better edit job with this idea. This one makes me think of SpongeBob SquarePants. ;D |

XD I just hope she still actually looks like DNAmy. She has all her basic features, so at least I would recognise her right away. I have one issue of the G.erman KP magazine, and it has a section in which Amy tells her opinion of the other characters. It includes a pretty nice picture of her that gives her somewhat different features. I will post it once I'm able to pick it up at my parents' place. |
