I found it impossible today to do anything for the FFF, and I think it's because I've reached a conclusion: Disney is either unwilling to or incapable of creating more episodes. It got me to thinking about Star Trek. It occurred to me that the first Star Trek movie, to which we have just seen yet another ferociously popular sequel, was made 20 years after the end of the original series and gathered the original cast. It then occurred to me to wonder what could induce a group of entertainment executives, traditionally a tight fisted bunch, to resurrect an OLD (if classic) show? There had been other classic shows. Why this one? The answer can be found in any used book store. Star Trek NEVER ENDED. Not properly. In those twenty years after the show shut down, there were literally hundreds of novels, independant comics, storybook tapes and records (ask your parents, aunts, and uncles what those are) even cartoons. (of course it didn't hurt that STar Trek was constantly rebroadcast in reruns) I own some of that stuff. I found it in a box the other day. Perhaps this is what's needed to get Kim back. We already have oceans of fanfiction, fan art, and fan comics on the internet. If we could get some legal permissions from the creators and maybe the suits of Disney, we might succeed in keeping her out there for people to notice how many people still want more.

I think on behalf on the whole FFF, we'd love to do that. Fanfic's are really the only thing keeping KP alive, so bringing them further is obviously a great idea. Although, money is obviously the problem... even if we set up a donation fund to help making books, I don't think we'd get enough money These idea's are what we need though. I had trouble making an e-mail for the media yesterday and starting thinking the same as you. Hopefully some good news will come soon, for now... keep fighting!

This is not a bad idea, there are many terrific already posted, and to have them printed into paperback is rather easy. I know of some on-line publishing house that will print as many books as you can pay for (1 to 1000 +). The thing behind this is that you must license Kim Possible from Disney to do this, Someone will have to go to Disney and say that they want to write a novel about her, or a collection of short stories. If not a book how about a graphic novel, we have lots of artist that can draw? The only major snag to this is that all subject matter in the book and from the stories will have to be approved by Disney. And if they still see the show as a kiddy show the stories will have to be written for (not that there is anything with) giggly eight year old girls.
The questions to be asked are:
1) Will and how much is it to cost a license Kim’s name and image from Disney? (I know of a person who for $2,000 U.S. licensed her moving image for one year)
2) How much to publish and how many copies to make?
3) Which fanfic’s to chose and will those authors give permission to print there works?

What it seems to me manofevil is there are just some people at Disney who are in high level positions that really seem to dislike Kim Possible or the fact that Kim Possible became this international hit that they never wanted Kim too be.
That's why I feel we've had such a difficult time getting Disney to even consider renewing Kim Possible or doing a Kim Possible Disney original animated movie. Cause those heads at Disney just don't want Kim Possible back regardless what we want as Kim Possible fans.

I think that's an excellent idea, and have a couple for games that could be made. Like remember the Spiderman games? Well imagine if instead of him using spider webs it was Kim with her grappling hook and she was fighting Drakken, Shego and the like. I think that would be something that would appeal to people.
Or with the development of things like Natal and Eyetoy, there were a couple of games that made use of the webcam: Spytoy and Kinetic Combat. Imagine if the two were somehow combined into a Kim Possible game. You could be taught proper kung fu moves, the same ones Kim uses, and use spy gadgets on missions. There was also a cheerleading game, of all things, that could somehow be incorporated as well.
It might sound a bit silly, but why not? Of course as it was mentioned money would be an issue. But if Disney have no interest in doing more episodes then how about things like games?

I don't think anyone's suggested this....but how about a comic book series?
