It's kinda like the metal "impervium", used in the construction of the planetkiller in the Star Trek ep, "The Doomsday Machine".

I can't tell if they were just being spectacularly lazy, or if they were so spectacularly lazy they came all the way around the loop and became brilliantly meta.
