The more I think about that burger, the more a piece of my soul dies. If the purpose behind this thing isn't to fight overpopulation, then it's to maintain order by subdueing the will to resist in the general population.

We've been using Windows 7 in the office for months now, it's really brilliant!
Installation is quick and easy, no compatibility issues with anything so far, and the interface- although frighteningly similar to Vista at first- is actually very easy to use...especially with the neat interactive taskbar.
To put it simply, Microsoft finally released something that works! No bugs, no annoying security popups, no long boot up time...no complaints. I'm happy to move over from XP and skip Vista.
I highly recommend it.

I hear Nemesis absolutely loves it.
Or am I thinking of something else?

Other than that 7's been running fine on my laptop (by which I mean that I can spend more than an hour on it without my laptop shiutting itself down because it overheats)

I haven't had it come up on me yet. I guess it depends on what you're doing. Where exactly did it appear with you?

Just when I needed to install a couple of programs and the proper sound drivers (the ones Windows Update gave me were Okay... they worked, gave me Audio Output... BUT NOT INPUT... meaning I can't record audio via Microphone (that's bad for me, since I like to do Let's Play videos from time to time.) Fortunatly Realtek had some updated drivers... Also Happens with Revo Uninstaller and Magic Video Converter. And... for some weird reason Winamp of all things triggers it... and I have no idea why... :-\ (it worked OK in the RC...)
