Well guys, I guess, like all the rest of the rats, I'm deserting this sinking ship. Still if you read my last post before this one, you can't say didn't go out with a bang. If you wanna find me you need only look here: Animation Communication Central the link is below: markandbobsforum.proboards83.com/index.cgiFight For Five and Save Kim Possible website link is below: savekp.proboards.com/index.cgiI'll probably be around once in a while. I'm definitely going to copy all my captions over to their shippy threads. That's some of my best work. Still I'm winding down. See ya out there on the information superhighway.

PatF hasn't cracked the $100M mark yet after nine weeks. That's not that successful compared with other Disney animated releases. Those dang chipmunks have done twice that. Can anyone honestly say they're surprised? The film was released right when Avatar was in theaters. Great movie for sure, but so were Sherlock Holmes and PatF and others that I can't really remember cause I saw Avatar like five times. But anything that came out during Avatar's box office avalanche was basically shot in the face, punched in the nuts, kicked in the chin, and run over by an eighteen wheeler. In front of it's wife and three children. On it's birthday.

^^Yeah, I agree, the time in which PatF was released did not help it one bit. It still wasn't going to gross as much as some of the absolute Disney classics, but I don't think the runaway popularity of Avatar helped its cause at all.
I still do believe this film will be considered a classic when all is said and done. I'll be interested to see if there's a surge in its popularity once it's released on DVD.

It's far cheaper to wait for the movie to come out on DVD than to have gone to the theater, families do not make a day of going to the movies like they used to. I can not blame them, between the coat of the ticket and popcorn it can get pricy for some, and households now with entertainment centers offer a better choice and a less sticky floor then the movie house.
As a side note the artwork by Stephen Silver went for over $700. I only went as high as $450. I myself could not see myself paying more than that even for the charity, and one can get it cheaper by commissioning the artist himself.

I noticed that DA's Kim Possible art is up to 24,324 deviations, should be 25,000 by the end of March if not sooner.

I don't think it's over. Sure, I'm not too much around here anymore (much more at the Slash Haven, though), but regardless, I still write and read KP fanfiction, plus now I make fanarts of my own, and I'm not the only one. This is just proof that the fandom is not dead.

Kim Possible is far from EVER being over! I mean the Fight For Five is still here and regardless of all the naysayers it's not going away and it has a huge following.
We lose Kim Possible fans and then we gain new ones. It's like a revolving door but that keeps Kim Possible alive. This is a show that touched a lot of us out there in so many different ways with so many different emotions. The Walt Disney Company were fools to cancel it but they can do whatever they want as they have the power and the money to do so.
We the fans can only keep the dream and hope alive that Kim Possible will return and fight to keep her legacy alive. The fans have never been strong enough to turn the tides when it comes to network executives as they should be working for us and not the other way around like it is now.
We have the power when we're united together, we lose the power when we fight amongst each other and we don't support each other and most of all just let Kim Possible just slip away.
Kim Possible will never be done as long as HER FANS out there worldwide don't let her slip into that famous Disney vault where Ducktales, Rescue Rangers, Goof Troop, Gargoyles, Tale Spin, Gummi Bears and so many others lie there collecting dust.
You the FANS make Kim Possible and that's the one thing Disney doesn't want to hear is that there still are Kim Possible fans out there that want to see her back and are willing to go the distance to see it through.
