Still haven't seen it yet, but I'm looking forward to it purely for the fact that there will be MOTHERF*CKIN' VIKINGS!!

Watched it in 3-D last Friday. Pretty Good Film. Shadigo Izayoi10Join Recommends. Just be careful that although it shows most of the funny in the trailers, it isn't all comedy like Shrek and Madagascar were. A lot of it is Hiccup and Toothless bonding with each other, finding out that everything that Hiccup/The other Vikings knew about Dragons is so radically different, etc. Also: the movie is NOTHING like the books its based on... so also be warned about that. (I actually didn't know that it was based on a book series until I Took a look around Wikipedia... so I'm none too fussed) Incidentally... Saw a Shrek 4(ever after - yes. Nice pun there guys...) trailer there... I'm a bit mixed about it... moreso since I didn't really like Shrek the 3rd that much.

My guess, considering that it's based upon a book series. The chances of a sequal of some kind is highly likely. It (as usual) all depends on the Box Office takings, and if Dreamworks can keep the rights to the series. But considering that the aformentioned Shrek 4 is going to be the last one Dreamworks is going to need something big they can make sequels with to pass the torch on to.

I just saw it tonight. It was the first time I ever saw a full-length movie in 3D. It was fun, and had a nice moral to it. The 3D effect made it seem like I was riding the dragon in some scenes.

Finally watched it this afternoon. Great film and one of the definite front-runners for best animated film of the year, unless we get some real gems the rest of the year. The score's great, too.

Which is why I said one of the front-runners. Though something tells me Toy Story 3 isn't going to be as good as the first two. Like, it'll still be good, but perhaps not as good. I might just be a cynic due to its being another sequel, though.

I also hope the DVD will be 3D. I was disappointed to not see any 3D release of Avatar.
