Hate Spinnerbait is right, 33. He started His teaching when He was 30 and spent the next 3 years at it, until He was pinned to the tree.

People also seem to use his name when they've done something wrong or they've seen something shocking... Hmm.. I wonder why they do that..

Umm, we're getting a lot of stuff about religion, when the truth of the matter is, Christianity is NOT a religion, it's a relationship! And let's straighten another thing out: You are not a Christian if you have not humbled yourself before Him, confessed your sin, admitted you are not a good person, and have asked Him to take over. (Or along those lines) Even then, You might have assurance of going to heaven, therefore being "saved," but are you really a "Little Christ," if you get saved and then say, "Okay, I'm good now," and then walk off in the wrong direction? And as for taking His name in vain, whose fault is that? Not His. It's not good, and it is not of God. Really, if you claim not to believe in God, yet you curse by Him every day, what does that mean? ~K~<3

HEY! It wasn't the right season!
Bluntly, I think Jesus was a great guy, whose teachings were corrupted by those who claimed to follow him. I'm not even going to go into my opinion of "God" now. If you really want to know (and I doubt many of the people in this thread would want to), you can search for it.

But you're coming off a little harsh, take a chill pill and relax a bit. Most of the time it's not what you say, it's how you say it, and you're coming off all "high and mighty" and "my *cough* don't stink". I suggest a good meal followed by a nice nap to ease your obviously tense nerves. Oh, and just to keep my post somewhat on topic: Jesus thrashed a temple because it was being used as a market place in essence. He used a whip, over turned tables, and let loose the animals because he was angry to see His Father's house being desecrated (good reason if you ask me).

I'm Christian, but I just believe that there is a God and there was a Jesus, and he died for our sins, came back to life, and will come again.
I'm also agnostic, whether or not any of this stuff is true, has no effect on me whatsoever.

Though I really don't see a difference in the denominations. xD I believe... Well basically anything the Bible says.

Denominations make me angry, Christians aren't supposed to be devicive amongst themselves. Just because you disagree on areas of divine silence doesn't make someone else wrong!
Umm... Jesus was tempted in the desert after 40 days of fasting by the Devil.

hence the term: nondenominational. when jesus was 13, he wandered off from his parents to go talk to and praise his father. original bar mitzvah? i don't know, i haven't looked it up.
