For those who can't understand A word I'm saying on the video, I'll get to the point straight away: I got the Demo for Sonic 4 this afternoon after I finished work, ready so I can buy it on Friday when I have some money, when my Xbox decides to die and do some other crazy stuff (example: It'll show the RROD, but start up as if nothing's wrong, to the point I sign in to xbox live ans the main menu thing is shown then freezes). It also at one point flashed the E74 error, but that only happened once. I also believe that it's no longer under warrenty (it last RROD'd pretty much 2 years ago to the day, funnily enough) so I doubt Microsoft will fix it for me without having to shell out for it. Now I'm willing to consider A couple of things: 1. An Xbox 360 Elite. (most likely A second hand one) Do they Suffer the same Problems the older Xboxes do, and how easy is it to use the Transfer kit? 2. One of the new 360's that came out A few weeks ago. (not fussed wether new or second hand) Would I be able to use the Transfer kit to take stuff from the old Console's Hard Drive to the new one, or would I have to use some overly complex method to do it with? and, again, does it suffer from the problems of it's older bretherin? I will be ignoring Comments suggesting to Get A PS3. I don't want one.Seriously, the last thing I did before all this stupid stuff happened was Download and Play the Sonic 4 Demo. For the record: the Xbox I own is an xbox 360 Pro.

...Could it be that Sonic 4 is so horrible that it's mere demo was enough to convince your Xbox to commit suicide? I've seen reviews on both ends of the spectrum for that game, so I'm not sure if I'll buy it myself.

Oh, definitely go for the new 360. You can use the transfer cable with it no problem. It runs quieter and cooler because of the smaller chipsize of the CPU and GPU, which are also both on a single die. They also re-designed the inside for better airflow.

I came in because Nemesis actually posted and I wanted to worship whatever words he spoke.

Well, I know it's pretty far off topic, but in regard to Sonic 4 I bought it off of Wii shop and played till I got past Casino Street. It's good, the physics are kinda weird which isn't necessarily bad. If I let up on the control pad while Sonic is soaring through mid air then he'll immediately lose all forward momentum and start falling straight down. This has both gotten me killed and saved my life by giving me a mid air break. It's just so... weird though. It kind of robs the game of the feeling of high speed whenever it happens. The plus is that Sonic's much easier to control though, so I'm gonna guess it was added for game play's sake.
A lot of the level design is really reminiscent of the old school SEGA GENESIS Sonic games, which floods me with useless, pleasurable nostalgia.

Yeah, i did end up getting teh full game for the Wii... and can probably say the same thing's you've just said. I have Beaten the game... Just need the rest of the Emeralds... Metal Sonic for Episode 2?! F*ck yes! also I hope for lots of Sonic CD references... and hopefully they get the physics right.

Ok, So what I've ended up doing recently is getting the Xbox Slim 250GB version, and get all the stuff off it with the transfer kit I've bought off Ebay. So consider this one solved.
