Not as much A fan of the remixed theme. And Twilight appears to have become super obsessive compulsive, much more than usual. I blame Q Discord. Twilight seems to really, really enjoy believing in Tyrant Celestia. No wonder so many fans think she's one. Fluttershy tried to kill A bear, apparently. Aaand cue A second breakdown from Twilight. Why have there been no ponies with fainting couch cutie marks to deal with all these crazy ponies? Well, on the plus side, she seems to have mastered teleporting. ... dear god, she's even crazier than any pony yet. ... she even managed to break Big Macintosh and the mayor ... and derpy. Impressive, given that they've never cracked before with anypony but Discord. And thus, the mane six now have Twilight's job.
The episode put me off the first time I watched it, to be honest, but it's grown on me upon re-watching A few times. As with many FIM episode, I find that all the little things put into the episode add up to something amusing or wonderful to me.
For example, SO many great facial expressions! Rarity + couch ... oh dear, I knew artwork was gonna come out over that the minute I saw it. XD Other stuff mentioned here already, it was pretty awesome.
I guess the main put off was seeing Twilight go more insane than Pinkie. That just doesn't make sense to me, and seemed way over-exaggerated, but I got over it.
Now to see how much of the fandom gets butthurt when Luna doesn't turn out the way they wanted her to be.
By the way, doc, where the hell is your ask me thread? :3

I'm inclined to agree, but I'm unsure of if we mean the same by "little things." The premise of each episode is usually pretty predictable and uninteresting on its own, but it's how the characters react that make for unpredictableness and hilariously good times. :3 (Party of One being the prime example.)
Nah, Pinkie is still the crazier of the two. Sure, Twilight talked to herself for A bit, but Pinkie carried on A lengthy conversation with several inanimate objects! Also, Twi has always been prone to panic, especially when Celestia's involved. Pinkie's madness is simply of A deeper, more sinister kind.
This ep is now tied with Lesson Zero as my all-time favorite! It's... it's relentless! And it's awesome to finally see some good group dynamic ^u^.
Highlights (in no particular order):
- Applebloom in AJ's hat, & dat bullettime. - Money grubbin' Mayor Mare. I smell incompetence and/ or corruption! - Big Mac crying manly tears. - Pinkie giving cake to the mailpony. - Old West Prostitute Pony?? o_0 - I Love Lucy reference. - Pinkie is best guns (also guns are canon). - YOU BROKE A PINKIE PROMISE!!! oh shiii- - Wagon race! - RARITYCATCHME! ;D - They knew what they were getting into! - Jumping the train. Fully expected, but still neat. :3 - AJ's defining characteristic is cemented as being stubborn pride. That's rock solid characterization, imo. - RD shedding womanly tears, daww! <3
And lastly, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY!!!:
Yes, that's the reason for my multiple fangasms. XD I've read A lot of different opinions on her voice, but come on! She had 4 lines, and every one was somewhat different. I figure the VA was trying something new, and I trust her (Tabitha) to figure it out. Plus, SHE'S FARKING ADORABLE!!! I just wanna hug her and ruffle her hair!!! Uh, in A manly way of course.
I can't wait to see more of her, particularly to find out what her strengths are. You know, besides being an adorable, iron-flanked agent of chaos and destruction. X3 I'm guessing they won't leave her this unbalanced for long.
