KIMVENTION 2012 is the world's first fan convention celebrating the television series, Disney's Kim Possible. Join us as we honor the men and women of the creative team who first imagined and then brought to life the First Great Heroine of the 21st Century!
Over two days aboard the historic Queen Mary, moored in Long Beach Harbor, you will get to meet and hear from the show's creators, writers, artists, technical staff and voice actors, as they discuss how they brought this unique show to life.
Kimvention is a charity fundraiser, with all proceeds to go to a charity soon to be named, in memory of Gary Sperling. Mr. Sperling was the head writer and story editor in the first season of Kim Possible. He succumbed to cancer in 2003. We will be celebrating his life as well at Kimvention.

Extras include:
A panel discussion of voice actors. To date, we have for this panel the dialogue director, Lisa Schaffer, and Shaun Fleming. We are currently negotiating with other voice actors as well. We have sent invitations to Tahj Mowry and James Arnold Taylor, and are still looking for contact information for other voice actors from the show. This panel will last approx 90 minutes long. The first 45-50 minutes will be a moderated discussion, and then the remainder of the time would be a general audience Q&A session.
One autograph session, lasting 45 -60 minutes, taking place after a break from the panel session.
A small discussion group event I'm calling "Meeting of the Minds", (although other events have termed it "Mug-a-Guest"). This lasts one hour, is a separate admission only, had just 10 attendees, the Guest of Honor and a moderator. It is designed to be an intimate conversation, a chance to know the real person.
A book of "fan" fiction written by the series writers themselves will be available.
