There's an episode with a character named Astrid, and another character remarks that they have Viking ancestors. What's that saying? I know this show came way before Gravity Falls, but Fi is like a combination of Dipper and Mabel. She has Dipper's interest in the paranormal, and Mabel's eagerness to just make friends with everybody she comes across. Oh, and how about that Animaniacs parody of Jurassic Park?! I was cracking up at how much they replicated: Speilberg as Hammond The Ellie head grab "We are gonna make a fortune with this place show!" The Jeff Goldblum caricature And of course the T-Rex part being replaced by Pinky and the Brain, followed by Grant reacting the same exact way. How dare Hulu get me to want to use their service now.

Hehe. They must have worked really hard on their genealogy, especially to get that far!!! That Animaniacs parody was wonderful! I was mostly heart eyes at the replication about JP but THEY'RE BACK!!! Like, the day I first saw Power Rangers in 1994, I almost certainly saw Animaniacs because it was on right before, iirc.

Sherri Stoner where you at? We need you to bring back Slappy Squirrel! Also GoodFeathers, and I hope they can get Bernadette Peters back, I gotta hear that Punk Rock Kitty Cat, or rather Lounge Singer Kitty Cat.
I'm sure Doug Walker is gonna try to get on the show. Him harassing poor Nathan Reugger is actually one of my favorite Nostalgia Critic scenes.
Speaking of cats, I went back and started rewatching the pilot of Chip N' Dale's Rescue Rangers and I got the Racial Insensitivity Apology Message I had recently read about. It doesn't tarnish the show for me, but I wonder how many more times I'm gonna find it now.

I just checked Dumbo and they have a content advisory in the details tab.
That's a good way to handle it. By acknowledging it somehow.

Are you okay? I wasn't sure if you fainted or not after you got your early birthday present of Christy Carlson Romano saying "I'm Kim F'ING Possible!". Too bad she didn't say she feels ridiculous when using the blender. Good question though about Shego's glowing hands and assuring people they weren't nuclear related, because that was my theory. Reading your recap for Trading Faces and you go, "How has that family not gotten cancer or radiation poisoning." I always wonder if Kim is gonna get radiation poisoning if she ever got scratched by Shego. I'm always gonna have Nightmare Fuel about that because I saw Superman IV as a child. There's a reason Shego files her nails.

That was GREAT.
I mean, considering they were caused by the comet or whatever, that was a reasonable assumption.
I like that CCR described Ron as Kim's True North.
Plus yeah, Acute radiation syndrome IS BAD. I watched the miniseries Chernobyl (and while yes, it's dramatized effects), but STILL. Depending on the source, Chernobyl won't be habitable for tens of thousands of years. (There are people living in the area, tho.)
Marie Curie's personal effects are going to be radioactive for about 1500 years.

Happy Birthday Ashley, you're the ginchiest! Have this video that was uploaded 5 years ago today. www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNiI6C0142gI agree with all the other viewers, keep your eyes on the lady on the far left, she steals the show. I should rewatch that movie on Disney Plus, I don't actually remember if I've seen it since the theater.

Thank you!
She really does! Her movements are hard to describe, but they're interesting.

I got ginchiest into the thread!
Good call about the announcer guy on Power Rangers. Disney Plus kept the announcer for the episodes of Chip N' Dale Rescue Rangers. Who is this guy? What's his name? Is he still alive? It's been over 30 years, these are important questions to me.
I enjoyed the newest Big Hero 6 shorts. Loved finding out more about Heathcliff. I think that's the first time Baymax addressed him by name.
Olivia is not related to Ian, like some had predicted. The scariest part was seeing GoGo in a dress. Honey Lemon got to her.

IDK about the Chip N Dale announcer guy, but Dave Mallow (the PR announcer) is still alive. Though there are quite a few PR actors who have died. powerrangers.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Deceased_Power_Rangers_ActorsDon't feel bad about Pua Magasiva though. He was a domestic abuser. Also, Thuy Trang's Wikipedia goes into a little too much detail about the accident that she died in and I really hate it. Heathcliff's story was fun!! She did look weird in a dress, lol.

Ugh, Thuy's date of death. Didn't know that the actor for Ernie had passed. Hey, so you're a fan of the boy bands right? I got a laugh out of this actually. www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFctRbaaSf8SuperGirl gets brainwashed into destroying a boy band. Since she's voiced by Nicole Sullivan, I'm picturing some AU where Shego unknowingly uses Drakken's shampoo and then tries to murder the Oh Boyz. Of course Kim stopped her. I also agree that Green Lantern was way too into his roleplaying here.

Green Lantern really liked being in a Boy Band.

Wasabi really liked watching one though, and GoGo plays guitar because....peer pressure, no, that sounds stupid. Fred Pressure.
Fred saying how awesome their dragon was, was super awkward.
Are you happy GoGo? You killed Baymax! I too lost it at that ending. Going back to the Teen Titans comparison, it was like when Raven had to babysit.
Nobody messes with GoGo's kids.

Fred Pressure is right! But, like, guitars are the best instrument. Wasabi was also super into that boy band.
THAT ENDING WAS SO wild lol. It was perfect.

I like that this aired following the Olivia episode. GoGo has learned to open up to children after having to deal with Richardson Mole so many times, and now she knows that his cousin can't stand him. Being around Honey Lemon helps her too.
I'm pretty sure Wendy Wower is the first Disney character to sing a song about receiving a death threat.
I won't post that gif again, but I will quote it and say, wait a minute, it's November! That means I didn't cancel Disney Plus yet. Should I watch Onward?

Yeah, considering she lives with Honey.
Probably!
Yes! It's good!

I was so invested in Ian's story and that's how it ends?! There were still scenes I enjoyed.
The freeway chase
Walking across the bridge
Manticore's midlife crisis
Barley sacrificing his van
I had no idea how right I was making How To Train Your Dragon comparisons back then, because they had to go to Raven's Point!
I was expecting at some point Ian's true feelings about Barley were going to come out, just didn't know how. Ouch. At least that nice dance scene came afterwards.
Barley was basically an animated Jack Black from Tenacious D: The Pick Of Destiny. Now I wanna watch that film again.
Finally, that final scene going through all the photos, basically recreating the ending of Lilo & Stitch, minus Wynonna.

I kinda wish both had time with their dad, yeah. He got a little robbed. I mean, even if he was young/never met his dad... like, that still leaves an impact on someone. (And even if not having that parent in your life was the best choice... as it is for some folks.)
I appreciate that Dan Scanlon's life experience gave a little to this movie.
Laurel is great. In this house, we stan single moms.

She is a mighty warrior.
I was not expecting Barley's fourth memory. Movie got super real.
Speaking of supers, on the anniversary of Big Hero 6, I guess the voters were the heroes?
