Looking forward to your initiation then Luqkim. You going to be part of the rebel alliance or 501st? 501st. If you take your time to look at my userbar .. you will find out that, my loyalty lies with the Galactic Empire!

Well, Macbeth script is sorta/kinda finished (Oi...want to change the names but couldn't think of anything). ...I told my friend that if we were in Star Wars, he'd sooo be a Mandalorian. This was following our Dark v. Light argument (which somehow turned into Open Palm v. Closed fist...). I called someone a nerf herded the other day.....I am the queen of geeks. ^_^ (Btw - does anybody else hate the whole 'midichlorians' thing? That just seemed really lame to me.)

Yeah the midichlorians thing took out the spiritual aspect of the Force and made it into something plausible and scientific.
I did not like that at all.
The history special did a thorough job in explaining the Force is like the almighty higher power, something that gives meaning to everything that happens in the life.

I love it however feel that the original kicked the pre trilogy's butt.

I love it however feel that the original kicked the pre trilogy's butt. I accept all six films for what they are. part of something epic.

Say what you will, but I still don't care for the first two of the prequels. ...gaah...*stabs midichlorians*.
Oh, and it turns out my friend had the same idea - he's also doing Macbeth as Star Wars. He has the Sith Lords as witches. I found that hilarious.

I salute you trombe, you guys rock for what you contribute to the fandom! ;D So did you participate in any of the events? Such as the rose parade? Man, what an honor it is to have one of you guys as a KP fan!!! Later I understood why Kyle wasn't in the movies. I wasn't so dissappointed when I found out he's had a decent play in galactic history and that he's a member of the council later on! I never knew there was a Rebel Alliance fan club as well.

Yeah the Rebel Alliance fan club is the other counterpart to the 501st. I really wanted to join there too but I don't have any actual rebel gear with me aside from Han Solo's blaster. As for my participation, sadly no I did not participate in the Rose parade or any of the major events the 501st were present in. I was WAY TOO BUSY with stuff at college. I do participate locally though. At Comic-Con 2006 and Anime Expo 2006 a couple of us California 501st gathered together to volunteer and help a charity for the homeless. It was way cool. One of us managed to deck out his costume as a Samurai-esque trooper. And you praise me too much Darth. ;D I'm just a simple Star Wars fanatic who happens to love Kim Possible at the same time.

Well Harry Potter does follow the "Hero's Journey".
As well as so many other stories.
I'm not that surprise that you can interchange the plot of Star Wars to match the Sorcerer's stone's plot.

Am both a Star Wars & Star Trek fan, and am tired of the on-line bitching about both shows. Wish people would shut the frack up and watch something else, or at least try to write their own stuff if they think that they're so hot. Bitching about the recent Star Wars trilogy has led me to a recent website called Why I Love The Phantom Meance that I think everybody here should check out; it'll reaffirm your faith in Star Wars.

Agreed.
This somehow blind prejudice over the prequel trilogy seems to just get out of hand sometimes.
Its not THAT bad. A lot of things could have been done better but the Clone Wars saga was pretty exciting. Trust me. The Books and the comics are very well done too.

Rebel Fan club eh? I don't supose you have regular fights in the video games right? If you mean do we play some LAN tournaments like regular video gamers yeah we do from time to time. we play Star Wars games like Jedi outcast II, some Jedi Academy, and some empire at war from time to time. But mostly some frag tournaments like Halo 2 or unreal tournament. Not all of us are gamers however.
