Red do you think Jones stays a brave? He's starting to turn it around this season. He did cost himself a lot of money with his performance a lot of the season. The Tigers absolutely killed Jones in that series early in the season. I really don't see any way the Braves will keep Andrew, especially after they signed Mike Teixeira. Sad to see him go, but he's got some problems wit his swing he needs to work out and he's not getting the help he needs in Atlanta. Yeah down south it seems the city's and states that don't have teams root for the braves. That's the way it was for me either the Reds , or the Braves. Went with the winners. I still like the Reds thou.

Ichiro Suzuki hit the Major's 1st and only Inside the Park Homerun in an All Star game. He's also an amazing hitter who has broken the most Hits record in a season (twice actually surpassing his previously set record the next season) Baseball (and sports in general) is a huge passion of people. People are mad at Barry Bonds because he took the greatest game in America and pretty much got away with cheating, in causing him to break probably the most sacred and amazing achievement in all of Sports. The Most Home Runs. And that he took it from a guy like Hank Aaron, who never had a season where he hit over 40 homeruns, who always talked to the fans and the media and never showed off. I mean its one thing for it to be broken. Alex Rodriguez will break it before his career is over, and Ken Girffy Jr Probably would have already if it wasnt for like 4 straight years of season ending injuries, and even more years keeping him out of the line up for extended periods of time. The Difference of these 2 to Bonds though is that they are players that embody the game. The gu8ys that go out and sign autographs for the Kids, who do everything legit, who go out and do it for the fans. Bonds Cheated, He ignores nearly all his fans, never says anything to the media, and just acts selfish. This is why its a huge deal. Yea, I agree with the stuff about Bonds in this. I just can't stand the way he WALKS to first pretty much while admiring his homeruns. Such cocky arrogance. I'm not saying he's not a good player- of course he is, but a little humility, that's all I ask, and a little credibility for your achievements. I don't think he embodies an athlete that I would want my kids to look up to. His achievement is very belittled because he cheated. I don't consider it a true display of talent or sportsmanship. I'm not saying other players don't do it, all I'm saying is that the ones that do are not worthy of all of their accomplishments. ...and while I know his swing is good, of course it's good, he's a proffessional, but adding the roids gives him ALOT more then some people act like they did. Bigger muscles = more strength = greater ability to hit distance. It's just common sense. Regardless of how nice his swing is, it's most likely VERY comparible to many other OTHER talented major league swings.
