Now THAT was cruel No.. it only took him about 5 seconds to realize it was a doll, and he thought it was funny.

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I was holding a realistic looking baby doll and told my husband the baby had just come out. He freaked out. Pure pure genius! I am forever hiding and leaping out on people and making them jump ... but nothing else is coming to mind right now .... sure I must have pulled tons of pranks in my time ... ooh I recall one that was just really really stoopid! In University, were were in a rehearsal for a devised show (I did a performing arts degree) and teh set was a semi circle of chairs and we kind of came and went from them between scenes. One time, our tutor had to go out for a phone call and I got everyone to hide under the chairs ... now bear in mind, we were all grown adults and these were school type chairs ... so none of us fit under them with all four legs on teh ground and we were so not even vaguely hidden ... so when we all leaped up and yelled surprise, it was teh worst gag ever .... and thats what happens when I get bored in class kids! LOL Actually, same class, different day ... we had to do public performance, but with our audience not knowing it was a performance .. and one girl convinced the receptionist we had seen a man on teh roof. So she called the fire brigade.... oops ... we all sat down and pretended we had been in a meditation class all the time and it wasnt us! I then ran outside to get a look at the firemen! Decided they were all a bit unnattracrtive, ran back into the hall and said 'dont worry girls, they are vile' .. to find their chief officer stood behind me ... oops again!

Oh, the chair thing you mention reminds me of a prank my anatomy class did. We all had these really tall lab stools that would shrink down and lower the seat by almost 2 feet if someone sat on it and pressed a lever. So we made a prank that as soon as the teacher began talking that day, everyone pressed their seat lever at the same time and the entire class sank down to the ground.
