W. O. W. I gotta say, I was surprised at how good it was. I didn't have my hopes up very high since most sequels are really bad, but Disney FINALLY nailed it. I'm in love with it! Everything about it was better. The music, the dancing, the sets... it was much more believable. I think it put out a really good message too. Wow... my favorite scenes: "What Time Is It", "Fabulous", "Gotta Go My Own Way", and "Everyday". "What Time Is It": The dancing, wow! You can tell they really stepped it up. I don't know how they're doing the dance along this time around, because I don't think even I could keep up. "Fabulous": Every girls dream. Come on, just admit that you could dance around in your room to this all day long... ;D "Gotta Go My Own Way": *tear*... Yes, I cried. Alot. In front of all my friends. But you could just feel it! I couldn't help myself. "Everyday": AWW! I cried at this too. Especially at the beginning, when Gabriella starts singing and Troy's all confused... *squeal!* Oh, and then the kisses! Yes, THREE! And one was in the RAIN! (or... well, sprinklers, technically ). Yeah... I was crying and squealing at the same time. Which makes for an interesting noise. Lol. The bloopers were great... I loved all three. Corbin forgetting his line was really funny, as was the golf cart not working... ;D Tonight = best TV night ever... 2007 gymnastics nationals on at 7, and then Hsm2 at 8! Yeah! ;D

I saw it last night, and was quite impressed! I loved HSM, but this topped it off by a mile. Great music, new characters, more drama, and more fun. Plus, Troy and Gabby KISSED!! I was cheering and whooping through that scene.
Like a lot of people, I found myself tearing up at 'I Gotta Go My Own Way', mind you, not a easy thing to do.
My new favorite character: Ryan. I adore Lucas Grabeel, he has a awesome singing voice! But I think they did a wonderful job making his character more then Sharpay's idiot brother, and Lucas did a wonderful job potraying this. He gained some friends here, and hopefully, in third movie, he gains a girlfriend (too those who think he's gay; did anyone notice that when he stopped hanging around Sharpay, he stopped wearing a lot of pink, that seems to be Sharpay's favorite color too. She pushes him around a lot, so maybe it was her idea.)
My favorite musical moments: Fabulous, I Gotta Go My Own Way, and Work This Out.
Final rating: 5/5.
Anyone catch that little reference to Grease? I thought that was funny!

My favorite songs are
"You are the music in me" (such a pretty song, with the chorus it sounds like something I'd hear in church ;D)
"You are the music in me (Sharpay version)" (It's catchy okay?)
"Bet On it" (God Zac has such a great voice, what did they mean his voice was too deep for the first one?)
"Everyday" (So pretty, did you know that the beginning when Troy sings it sound very similar to the beginning of Can you Feel The Love Tonight in The Lion King?)

"High School Musical 2" Draws in 17.24 MILLION VIEWERS (haha Zac's a penguin!) 17.2 million viewers tune in to Disney telecast Execs at Disney Channel knew it would be huge -- but not quite this record-setting massive. The Friday preem of Disney Channel's "High School Musical 2" brought in an astounding 17.24 million viewers, making it the most watched basic cable telecast ever, including sports telecasts, Disney Channel said Saturday. "HSM2" now ranks as the most-watched TV movie ever with kids 6-11, drawing 6.1 million viewers in that demo, and the most-watched ever with tweeners 9-14, drawing 5.9 million viewers in that demo, according to Disney Channel. In total households, pic drew a massive 9.4 million cable homes, putting the telecast behind only a handful of sports and news telecasts in cable history in total households deliver. The high total viewer tally also indicates that pic was a family viewing event in most of those 9.4 million households. Disney Channel followed "HSM2" with a sneak peek of the upcoming animated series "Phineas and Ferb," which held onto a healthy 10.8 million viewers from its windfall lead-in. And at 10:20 p.m., a fresh seg of Disney Channel hit "Hannah Montana" was socko enough to rank as Disney Channel's second most-watched telecast ever, with an average of 10.7 million viewers. "Hannah" also set ll kinds of series records for Disney Channel and the basic cable biz in general, including most-watched seg with kids 6-11 (4.1 million), and most-watched seg with the 9-14 crowd (4.2 million). AWESOME. That's AMAZING! ;D

I've always hated HSM and the first movie was crap. But the sequel Well, the only bad things were Vanessas fake laugh and Ashleys singing. Everything else was perfect, and the movie was very, very good
