Ron's Dorm Room “Ron’s so sweet. He has several photos of me on his wall to remind him of me whenever we get separated for a few hours.”

Kind of reminds me of the scene in the beginning of American Pie II. Gosh... this dorm room seems very vast in size, compared to the one I lived in. Mine was a small. Ron and Kim look very comfortable and cozy in theirs. And it probably is the beginning of the school year, cause dorm rooms are never THAT clean! Nice job Cloudmonet.

Um, this relates to a touching K/R moment how? And what is going on here? Retro Nicktoon day? Nice to see Rocko again...

Kim did say it was cleaner than usual-- it's the beginning of a semester-- but big? The layout I have in mind (and it was consistant with Kim's Room), was:
about 8x14 feet, entrance door in the middle of the long wall, one smaller than twin bed at each end against the eight foot walls, closets between these and the entrance door, and a counter/desk/storage area against the outside wall, which would have a pair of large glass windows. At least several of the dorm towers at the college I went to 1967-1971 had rooms kind of like this. Not exactly big for two people.

At least several of the dorm towers at the college I went to 1967-1971 had rooms kind of like this. Not exactly big for two people. I'd have to say this... you surely did draw the typical college dorm room. I dormed a year ago... but my dormatory was constructed in the 1970s. So I can totally relate to the imaginative size of Ron's dorm room... but seriously, my own room in my parent's house is waaay bigger than 8X14. Sometimes you gotta share a drom with two people, so the actual size you suggested should be divided by two. That only gives you 56 square feet of walking room... so thats like... a 7.5X7.5......... totally cramped, not enough breathing room . I really like the poster of the "Island in Paradise" ...as I would call it. Its somewhat similar to your drawings of "Smiley Creek Mountain," "City of Rocks," and "La Barge Meadows." It seems like you superimposed one of your paintings into this piece of artwork... which is very clever. Even though that poster is eyecatching, moreso is the professional photo of Kim. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Actually, that one was based on one of my mom's paintings (of Kauai) hanging in my living room. I thought it could be a photo Ron picked up (or took?) on one of their missions...
