Having a good picture to put with good text helps a lot I think. That's why I like the semi-illustrated versions a lot and tried my best to make a good addition to the excellent tales already out there. Glad you're enjoying it and look out for more

Can't wait for chapter 13!

Sorry about the wait on this chapter. It's turning out a lot longer than I expected, but I promise it'll be good! Having Grimm hanging out in Middleton - well, the ideas wrote themselves, but stitching them all together and keeping them in line with the overall plot - that's been a challenge....

Hey, I know it's been said before, but I'm still curious - just how much ]Half-Life have you played? Honestly, I'm looking at some of the art and plot devices in it and I'm thinking, "Does this guy work for Valve?" Now, despite what you may think, that's a complement, especially since Gordon Freeman is so . . . bad***. Now, whether or not these similarities are purposeful or accidental the simple fact of the matter is that my geekiness level is going off the scale right now. I can't wait for the next chapter!

I don't work at Valve. Though I do play Half Life and it's numerous sequels. I don't know that Gordon Freeman has ever encountered an evil opposite, unless you count the G-Man... But even better things are yet to come in the story, so stay tuned! Most guys would love to have Bonnie this close - so why does Grimm look so freaked?

I really like the way you drew Bonnie's face. All-around good artwork, there!

I sort of agree with what Frank Miller said - "Drawing beautiful women is great - it's like running your hands over them." Though I'm not sure how much personal experience he was speaking from....

Too much information, man... But it is a good drawing. ;D (yes, I'm using way too many smilies today...)

Going good so far. [about the riddle] Hmmmm... either envy or the Grinch.

This one's not an abstract riddle about time or envy or some personality trait. The answer is a person - but it's not Shego or the Grinch It is one of the enemies in the KP rogues gallery.... but which one....?

At first my mind went to Duff Killigan, but maybe Gill would be a more logical choice?

Yes - the correct guess was "Gill"... The chapter subheading this time out will be "A Sitch in Slime".... Should be fun!

Slyrr, do you take requests?
I shall explain: As I was reading "Spirit of Snow" by Pengychan, I saw in my mind's eye a picture of the scene right before Monty turned around: A close-up profile of Monkey Fist, his eyes closed tightly with a few barely visible tears escaping, facing the right (where lies the grave), and an awkward-looking but emotional Bates behind (visible between Monty's face and the end of the picture), holding some sparse flowers. It was drawn in your style... I'm assuming and hoping you've been reading this wonderful fanfic.
I know; I'm rambling. I'll leave now.

If Slyrr doesn't want to do it, you could always ask Hanna/SpicyWeasel. She is already illustrating "Spirit of Snow" here, and she said she's open to suggestions about which scenes to draw.

I could try it, but it might be a while. I'm kinda slammed for time these days with my job (dang real life), trying to get my latest chapter done right, and the drawings it will need, and Blackbird wanting pics for his 'swimsuit' MI universe project. But I'll try to squeeze it in.... somehow....
