That'll be addressed in the next chapter, because it's a good question. Why don't Monkey Fist and Maze just petrify Middleton and Kim with it? After all, how could Kim stop them if they tried it? Like most other plot holes, this one will hopefully be skillfully filled.... Text is mostly done, need to work on sketches. But

Oh, I thought they said at one point that they planned on turning the jammer thing on Kim at some time.

In the latest chapter, MF told Maze they 'might' have to target Kim directly if Drakken failed to come up with any counters to the detector Wade created which allowed them to determine which satellites were being hijacked. Up to now, Monkey Fist resisted doing this because Global Justice was ignoring them up until then, and he didn't want to get major organizations mobilized and scouring the earth for them... yet

By the way, I just noticed how much I love Grimm's face in your signature. <3 The evil smirks always get me.

The smirk is kind of his trademark now. (Vote Grimm for 'Best Villain in the 4th Fannie awards!)

Sorry, too much of an anti-hero for my taste in that category, now... But he's still getting best Original Character Name!

It's time for another update - 'A Friend in Darkness' chapter 18 is ready to go! Visit fanfiction.net to read/review the story: www.fanfiction.net/s/3785522/19/And the illustrated version: home.comcast.net/~gregfisk/friendindark18.htmLast chapter's riddle was 'change'. And changes are coming - now that Grimm is freed from the golem enchantment, he's taking stock of his 'deal' with Kim and decides that it's over. How will Kim deal with the info that Maze can't bring back Ron from the spirit world? Plus, more from Ron and Rhonda as they visit the 'yo-yurt'! Read up and review! (Oh, and nominate FiD for the Golden Fannies! ) Quoth Jade: 'Does this thing make my butt look big?' Changes are coming in the next chapter - when Grimm returns to his hometown with Team Possible in tow! You won't want to miss this! PS - Nominate Grimm Probable 'Best Villain'

Probably later tonight or tomorrow! *coughnot-very-subliminalmessagescough* Nice work, though.

Ahah, poor Jade - this is the first time she wears that outfit, isn't it? XD As usual, great art. I just adore the pic with all of them together, especially the perspective and the expressions. If I remember correctly you said this chapter was slightly shorter than the previous ones, so I hope to find enough time to get to read it soon!

I'm planning another one after this story, not nearly as 'epic', but something to tie up the whole All Things Probable series and set things up for Kim's 'Graduation' episode

At the risk of sounding cliche... and the plot thickens! lol I was cliche.
I don't know what to make of Grimm anymore, but kudos to Wade for thinking ahead.

It is indeed high praise when you can sucker in the folks who normally don't go for 'fan' fiction. Consider me suckered! I particularly like how you address things that would never in a million years be covered by the series, like how Kim's temper could make her compromise what she's all about (though I think she would be a little more resilient, at least outwardly while in the field (Mrs. Dr. P. didn't raise no fool)). And let's not forget Leigh Gality! ;D I'm still hoping Kim will have her day in court. It's something I've been pondering for months! Also, I grew quite fond of Rhonda while reading Return to Camp Kwitcherbellyachin. Not too surprising, as Ron is my favorite from the series, but I thoroughly enjoyed Rhonda's path to power. Unhurried, with a steady sense of foreboding, and all the while woodsy and nature-y and serene. Unlike Ron's, which was "BAM! - He's got power now! Really!" Also, Ron has yet to converse with his monkeyness. Hm. ... Hmmmmmmm! (feels awfully clever ;D) Well, I'll keep my guesses to myself for now. Anyways, I was sad to see them both go, not least of all because I thought it would leave the story without any comic relief at all, but Jade seems to be coming around. Grimm at Middelton High was a breath of fresh air as well. If you can redeem Grimm and make him likeable after all he's done, I'll, well, I'll be sorta kinda blown away...
