Did anyone think it was odd that Kim made a big deal of Ron going into her closet ("Ill Suited")? I mean, hasn't he done that before?

Maybe she has items that she's not ready for him to see yet, if you know what I mean. I don't recall Ron being in Kim's closet in the past. Has he?

When they were not an item she would not have cared one bit at all. Now that they are together theres things she may not want him to see since they are a item now.

Yeah, I know it's not a kiss, but it's a very nice pic of the two of them. So cute.

Every forum I signed up to has one really smart guy, who makes really elegant posts, always has deep and insightful things to say, and yet makes everything seem for clear and obvious. Cloudmonet, you are that person on this forum (although I have a feeling you already know that).

You know, Kim's shippiest moment of the episode might be her response to the unenhanced Ron at the football game. Bonnie gloats at Ron's apparently poor performance, and Kim just smiles and cheerfully replies, "Yeah, he's my guy." In your face, Bonnie! And then he makes a touchdown as a running back. Why not? The dude can outrun laser cannons! ———————— Did anyone think it was odd that Kim made a big deal of Ron going into her closet ("Ill Suited")? I mean, hasn't he done that before? You know, I'm probably imagining this, but Kim almost sounded turned on by the idea that Ron did this, in addition to being angry about it. I'll have to look at the moment very carefully to see if there's any tangible reason why I should have this impression.

I'll have to look at the moment very carefully to see if there's any tangible reason why I should have this impression. You know something? As I think about that moment in my head (which is so not hard as I've seen the episode upwards of like 6 times already), Kim's inflection tells me that she was sort of angry but there was a bit of... turn on factor of Ron going into her closet. There was a "Did Ron see my black dress? What about that number I have planned for him eventually?" kinda thing going on there.

I noticed a couple of items from Steve Loter in the Feb 11 chat transcript that would affect interpretations of "Ill Suited."
First, Kim actually did give her "so called boyfriend" a kiss at that moment, which was edited out for time, so I think we can dismiss any idea that they might not be kissing regularly— a possibility raised by her response to the 3:15 AM nightmare call.
Second, there was in the rough draft a scene in which Jim and Tim actually help Ron lift the battle suit?!! The Tweebs are clearly K/R shippers, at least at this point!
There was a thread about the Tweebs' reaction to Kim and Ron as a couple a while back, in which many of us (not me) worried that they would interfere with the relationship in some way. Apparently not. I theorized (and also put the idea in a fanfic, "Art Attack") that liking Ron and wanting Kim to choose him was the real reason why they gave Josh Mankey and Erik such a hard time. I'm not gonna stand behind this idea too firmly, but it is a real possibility.
Third, there will be some visible kissing in season four. Whew. They could've gone Aladdin and Jasmine on us (they kissed in the movies, but hardly ever on the show).

I firmly believe that the tweeb are K/R shippers.
I mean, as much as 12 year old boys can be shippers.
I am also sure they are kissing regularly. We're just not seeing it. I mean, there's a lot of stuff that we won't get to see being of it is a G-Rated show.

It good to see your insights. You have the knack of hitting the nail on the head.

Again this is just my speculation but i firmly believe that 3:15 AM nightmare call kim got from ron was just a few days after the prom and then it skipt ahead to the end of summer. Is this not a possibility? Because did Ron not say The other night when on the phone then it jumped to the end of summer after the first dementor scene?..... I also agree that it's not unrealistic for us to believe they do kiss a lot but we just don't see some of it because of time. Can't get more proof then that.

Just because Ron didn't mention the phone call, doesn't mean anything. I honestly believe it to be moot.

I believe he did not mention the phone call is that phone call happened months earlier than the first dementor scene. Im talking a few days after the prom. I believe it's moot also but im just saying this is the only way it makes since.

The tweebs are getting older, and perhaps wiser and they're probably starting to notice girls themselves and know that payback is a pregnant doggie. Then again, they just might have outgrown that Ooo, la la thing.

It doesn't matter when it happened. I know it does not matter but it's still interesting....... You can tell from 'Ill Suited' and 'The Big Job' that Kim & Ron are not afraid of a little PDA!
