The quotes I made up, as a joke. That screen cap is from "Tick Tick Tick".  To be actual panties would be silly, given even Real Life cheerleaders have to do high kicks, etc. It'll make many people's eyes bug-out if they see lacy panties. Not a good thing if the sports team suppose to be paying attention to the game and not the cheerleaders' underwear. ;D Honestly, if one thinks about it, they're nothing more than elastic gym shorts. I've seen Japanese anime where the high school girls wear gym shorts that actually looks like swimwear: high hips, covering the butt, and modest in front. Nothing sexual about it at all. Thus the same should be for the cheerleaders' spankies. And yes, I know it's a strange name, but the last time we have this discussion regarding that "Tick Tick Tick" shot, someone mentioned that they were called 'spankies' and since he/she said he/she was in a cheer squad, I believe him/her. Those who are/were cheerleaders should know these things. |

They are called spankies, i asked one of my friends who is on the cheer squad here, and she confirmed it, as we expected. When i posted, i could not remember the name  And yea, they are not actually underwear, they are meant to be seen, as was said, when cheer leaders do their high kicks and what not, you see them many times. I think people are just surprised that we see them on kim during that shot because it is almost like her underwear. and the fact that we have never once seen another shot (not that matters at all, and who cares). The animators have always made sure the skirt flipped and fell into just the right position. |

And hence why when doing the Cheeroutfit I went ahead and did up each girls name on them. (used to seeing it before just made it fancy.) I may have to dig up the Bonnie one to show it off again.
Before anybody asks though. I just wanted to do something and not make them so plain. (just made them purple to make the majority of the outfit)

In "Team Go" we see one of the wavy haired girls (Liz or Crystal, I always get them confused) showing off her spankies at the top of a complicated setup Kim is holding with Hego's blue glow strength. In that case, it's exactly the same color as the inside of the skirt.  |
