With Brick gone away to college, and Josh just faded away, I'm kinda thinking we need a new character for Monique to date. There aren't really that many named boys at Middleton High. Other than Ron, Felix, Ron Rieger, and Malcolm, and the sports captain guys from "So the Drama" whose names I don't remember, who else is there? We're gonna have to either drag up a background character and give him a name or invent someone new, most likely. But from Steve Lotor's comment about Drakken/Shego and the plot problems of an "overabundance" of couples, I'm guessing a steady boyfriend for Monique isn't real likely.

I got to say other if they even pick one. The only reason why I can see people supporting Felix here is because he's Ron's friend. I just don't think Monique would use Ron's friends as a possible dating pool. She'll probably date some guy we never heard of before and well never see again if she does date anyone.

Monique did actually date someone off-screen in S4. Kim asked her about a guy named LeShawn in "Cupid Effect". It would have been nice to have seen what he looked like, even briefly. On one hand, I would have liked to have seen Monique dating during S4, or an episode where Kim and/or Ron tried to fix her up with someone who isn't 12. On the other, she wasn't a boy-crazy, desperate, gotta-have-a-boyfriend kind of girl, so I don't mind that she wasn't paired off with someone just for the sake of it. How 'bout Bonnie or Zita? (Forgive the Slasher in me ^^U) I'm only slightly surprised the slasher in you didn't suggest Kim, but I'm sure that to you, K.P.'s already taken by certain green villainess. If I were the slash-y sort, Kim/Monique would make sense to me. I really don't think Monique would tolerate Bonnie for long. |

I am for complicated relationships were the characters got to struggle to make it work. Kim/Monique makes total sense (if they both were openly attracted to girls, that's it), but for me, Kim/Shego and Kim/Bonnie is far more interesting, because the partners have a lot more to overcome to get their happy ending, beyond the whole homosexuality drama. Just giving a piece of my mind here. |
