For me, I don't like him. Don't know why . Maybe it's because of the name Mankey ;D.

Yup. If I was a teenager, I'd totally go for Josh.

Quite an even playing field I'd say. I also would like to say that I think most people don't like Josh because of what Kim has done to Ron because of him. I'd say Ron started a "let's-hate-Mankey" trend. Just a thought.

Don't know the guy. From what I've seen I can really tell. Some of his stuff annoys me and some of it just makes me shrug my shoulders. The fan community on the other hand mostly hates him. Mostly because he dared to date Kim. Guy will never live that down.

He doesn't interest me, but yes, I like him. He's a decent guy, and he cleans up graffitti in creative ways. I just find him dull.

Well if you know me, then you should know my response. Which is a no, and not a blind 'following everyone else' hate, I have reasons for hating Josh. Which is why I usually go out of my way to have something horrible happen to him in my fanfics.
Just straight up don't like the guy

I don't really like him.. he remidns me too much of Erik.. the two are pretty hot, but also pretty harsh to Kim.. and even though KP isn't my fav character, she doesn't deserve to be led on and then dumped by these guys I'm glad she's with Ron now.

I just know I'll go to my grave and not understand why KP fans don't like Josh. Why, because he stands in the way of K/R? Talk about flimsy excuses. The name sounding like monkey? Flimsier still. And don't be so quick to put blame on him. Was it he who locked Ron in the janitor's closet? Was it he who twisted Kim's arm to go out that one time?
The creators have said that K/R was planned from the start (I still find that laughable), leading me to think that there were no such plans to develop Josh beyond being Kim's crush. I hope that an episode in season four comes along to prove me wrong.
To sum up, I have no problem with Josh Mankey.

KP fans hate Josh because he was the other man (or because he's a popular, rich artist which ticks off the real artist). As for the Mankey bit...yeah I dislike the last name. Not because of the monkey bit but because of the Mankey bit. Just seems wrong like month old Mayo. Now did he force Kim to do the bad things to Ron. Yes he did didn't you see the mind control device behind his back. I don't hold it against the guy I mean we have all wanted to get a little edge in the dating thing at least once. Right?

Summed it my hatred for Josh perfectly ;D I knew you were good for something j/k Because they portray Josh as a really popular well liked artist guy who seemingly has some money (basing this on some of the things he does in the short time we see him on the series, not me making it up) I am a "Artist" you could say (Although I can't draw a person if my life depended on it) And am roughly a year away from graduating. I am popular, but I am not saught after by cheerleaders, I struggle to make it by with what money I have (materials are NOT cheap my friend). Josh is the total opposite in that sense of a artist, all the great artists had relationship problems, not to mention psychological problems. That is why I hate him, cause he's breaking the rulez!!

I don't have anything against the guy.
But there is one more hateful than Josh and that's Eric.

Uh...huh. a) He's still in high school. The art thing may well be a hobby; he also plays in a band, you know. b) How do we know he comes from money? The show never bothered to develop him. c) I, myself, was - and still am - like Ron: eccentric, unmemorable, girls wouldn't spit on him if he was on fire. Sure, I was jealous of guys like Josh, but I didn't hate them. If anything, the girls who ignored me were more at fault. And I maintain that that 'other man' stuff is a lazy excuse. I once ran in "Hey Arnold!" fan circles and the Arnold/Helga shippers stated similar reasons for hating Lila. It was a sixth-rate (at best) reason then and it is now.

Just look at *insert location* and you'll see my reasoning behind that statement. Yep I was thinking of your statement when I wrote that bit. After all I'm here to help. ;D

Good thing he does break the rules, other wise he would be a 1 dimensional sterotype character. If that were the case, then I too would probably dislike him. On a related note, it makes for bad writing when in love triangles/squares that the other man/woman has to be a jerk. Life (even if fictional) just ain't that simple.
