That's one of the few things I can like of this couple... but I'm seriously tired when fans want Ron to stand out and Kim to stay home and raise the children, and I don't think I'm talking about a minority around here, at least not that close. Well, I've never thought that Kim would stay home while Ron goes and does stuff. How they'd balance family life and missions, however, is an interesting question...

If that ever happens in canon, I doubt that I can ship K/R ever again. /* In love, both are equal in success and failure - that's my belief */ I agree

the idea of "leaving Kim behind" is unthinkable for me. The same goes for me And I. Also it would just be completely out of character for Ron. Want to shoutout to NewSkool101, I agree with you on the Ron going DBZ at the end of Graduation, wasn't a big fan of that myself. It was amusing and I'm glad he killed W&W but it was to DBXesque for me.

*nods* I do, too. I've always wanted a friendship that turned into a relationship like that. They're just so full of love and trust. They know everything about one another and the love goes really deep. *shrugs* That's why I love them together so much. It stands for a lot of things that are lacking in today's world.

You couldn't pay me enough to go back to my high school days. Hated that place. Nor could you pay me to try to do the dating thing again. All I can say ladies and gentlemen, if I can part a couple years extra experience on many of you, is that relationships come when you stop looking. Once the "must be with someone" desire subsides you act more natural and bam that's when things fall into place. Give it time, it'll happen, trust me on this one.

Aww, thanks for the advice. I needed to hear that. I'm just kinda a helpless romantic. So I was beginning to wonder if anyone would want to go out with a dork like me. I know that I have to just act like myself and that's what I do. It just gets me annoyed when I see girls acting all uppity and they are the ones who get dates. Is it like some sort of secret code that you have to give a guy in order to get him to ask you out? Stupid!

I'm still having some trouble figuring out why everyone thinks Ron is the only one who stopped the aliens. Kim and Drakken freed each other. Ron and Shego went to save Kim and Drakken's bacon. Rufus and Shego brought the alien ship down. Kim and Ron saved each other from major bone-breakage. Kim and Shego grounded Warhok and Warmonga. Drakken stopped their war machine. Ron killed them. Strikes me as very much a team effort. It seems like every Ron fangirl gets ADD as soon as he's blue with monkey ninja powers and forgets everyhing they just saw. Drakken's actions probably saved more lives than anything Ron did. Sure, it was a team effort to save Kim and Drakken, take the ship down, knock out the war machines, etc. What the team effort DIDN'T do was defeat Warhok and Warmonga. Ron did. And don't get the wrong idea. I was actually AGAINST Ron totally pwning Warhok/monga the way he did, going all DBZ, and such. I would've preferred the fight ending with the aliens trapped in Drakken's plants, then, I dunno, taken away to get locked up somehow. Or maybe they could've just been embarrassed by losing to a guy with flowers growing out of his neck and just left altogether. I can't say I like how the battle ended, but hey, that's how it ended. I want to have your babies. I'm kidding. But seriously, I agree with you. I did not like the DBZ-style Ron. I don't know know what I'd replace it with, but that just felt... off. Now what was the original topic again? Oh yeah, warm fuzzies when you see Kim and Ron kissing. I kind of get them, but it's not a huge deal for me. I get the same warm fuzzies when reading some particularly good fanfics of the non-canonical pairing variety (a certain fic called "That Day" comes to mind).

Is it like some sort of secret code that you have to give a guy in order to get him to ask you out? Stupid! If I can dip into sagely advice again briefly. Ask them yourself. I can already hear your initial reaction. I'm serious though, if your interrested in a guy there is no harm. On that note there is nothing wrong with being a hopeless romanitic either, it's probably one reason why your waiting for the guy to make the first move. That sort of thinking is ingrained in us. Dorkiness is an asset, you will see. I'm an uber-nerd myself and yet I some how was able to get married! Example: I'm currently writing this post in my zouave civil war uniform. Anyway. I find it amusing you think there is a code for guys because we think the same for girls! In fact I know there is a code, its just hard to explain. Unfortunately we can all take a lesson from Ron and acknowledge that there is indeed "rules". I'm just glad K/R got past them, that means you can to!

I'd bet five to ten dollars that a very good portion of K/R fans are idealistic/hopeless romantics.

Somehow I'm not all that upset about it. ;D There's nothing wrong with being idealistic and a hopeless romantic especially in a world where if hurricanes and fires don't get you. Terrorists or a random homeless man will. So ya I don't feel I'm missing out much being left out of the rebellious, non nonconformists, non traditional, "realistic" edginess that comes with being a slash fan. [/sarcasm]

While I'm here allow me to define (from the web) what a believe a hopeless romantic to be
Hopeless Romantic: This person is in love with love. They believe in fairy tales and love. They're not to be confused as stalkers or creepy because that's not what a hopeless romantic is. All hopeless romantics are idealists, the sentimental dreamers, the imaginative and the fanciful when you get to know them. They often live with rose colored glasses on.
Like I said I think a lot of K/R fans are (at least when it comes to K/R anyway). And that's cool with me

One of the best apsects of the show is Kim and Ron's relationship. Even now it is fun to look back at past episodes to watch their relationship evolve and see trust and admiration grow between these two characters. Both movies, "A Sitch in Time" and "So The Drama" look at their relationship with AsiTh displaying the love between them as friends, and how they work as a collective team. They know each other inside and out. StD explores their true feelings they feel for one another with both taking a larger step in their relationship the progress from friends to being a couple. I love their relationship, its a classic Disney love story right there.
