Okay, obviously I'm doing this quote and reply thing wrong. I really stink at the technical stuff. I think it's like learning a foreign language...if you don't learn it when you're young it's so much harder!

I understand. I guess I just don't feel the same because I had kind of given up on D/S, and then I felt like it just came out of nowhere. Aw Shucks. Shego can be independent without being a backstabbing jerk. I know that it's a dysfunctional relationship. It would be kind of weird for it not to be. They're both pretty selfish characters, and they're villains. I guess the reason her ditching him annoyed me so much was because they ignored it. I'm kind of a stickler for continuity. I wouldn't have had a problem with it if they'd made an effort to resolve it. I mean, Drakken and Shego obviously made up. We just don't see it. You're not going to hurt me. Don't worry about it. Well, that isn't the only reason I wanted them to get together. It's just that I've been a fan of this show for awhile, and I used to visit this other message board that was overrun with people who loved Shego and hated Drakken. So I was constantly wading through "Shego rules Drakken sucks" posts. After having put up with that for so long, it's hard for me to not be a little smug that they're finally together. I'm just talking about it annoying people who think Shego is too good for him. I like D/S because I think they're good friends who really care about each other in spite of being villains. The idea has always been appealing to me. i have a question d/s fans why do people dump on d/s but they don't on k/r i just want them to be a couple all my life and steve and writires made my wish come true so please stop hurting my fillings  Try not to be so sensitive. I'm not dumping on anybody. I like D/S. I just didn't like the way they handled it in the show. K/R was handled a lot better, but it has it's problems too. I could criticize certain aspects of their relationship if I cared enough. The only reason I'm talking about D/S at all is because I DO care about it. |

Well, I hope it's okay to post this in this thread, but it's my favorite, so, here goes. I'm Charlotte and I'm a new D/s fan. Actually I'm new to this whole thing - forums, fanfiction, pretty much all of it. I've enjoyed visiting this site for a while now and finally decided to register. If I can figure out how, I'll try to do some of these caption/screencaps...they're really funny. YAY...more D/S supporters...welcome aboard my friend  |

He was a huge geek, and he owned his own island. Seriously though, being a geek basically just means you're eccentric. Pretty much anyone who would post on a cartoon forum would be considered a geek by most people. |

I have after all seen you around the internet, and I know you're a D/S fan.  And yeah, I very much agree that it was annoying that they didn't deal with the aftermath of MDAA at all. It was a very unusual situation for D/S, what with everything that had happened earlier in the season, and it was silly to not have any follow up on it at all. What, they're suddenly back together, just like that? I know KP doesn't have much continuity, but it does have enough for the need to straighten out the post-MDAA situation to be there...right? It was just confusing and irritating. Then again, it's just a cartoon, and cartoons are infamous for that sort of stuff. Just look at Drakken, who gets his hair burned off and is okay two seconds later. Cartoons don't need logic, apparently. Still...yeah, it would have been very interesting to see how Drakken and Shego made up after MDAA. ;D I'm just puzzled that they abandoned such an intriguing storyline (Shego going off to work with Junior, then Ed, then getting jealous over the whole Warmonga bit; it did have continuity) after going with it for several episodes. *shrugs* Anyway, about the whole 'Drakken sucks and Shego rules' thing-- I know exactly what you mean. I felt like I spent the first few weeks on this forum doing nothing but defending Drakken. I like both characters more or less equally and I don't see one as better than the other. They both have their faults and their strong points. Of course, there are those who think Shego isn't good enough for Drakken, too. I think I've defended her several times as well. |

if someone was to say that i'll say calhaboca or STFU because that's mad cool ...remember my friend we all have what we like and our hobbies...we can't stop or bother/annoy someone if their pastime is a stupid thing...i hear my sister calling me a geek because i be on rs.net
but i be telling her...the same way you habg out in your websites is the way i hang out in rs.net
please be a little nicer and respect out likes...tha's what i told my sister
is true that i don't like reality sitcoms because they bored me to death...but remember we all have our likes and dislikes:-)

which was the between episodes when these two villains made up
but just remember this...Shego is a seductive girl...i mean she might've done something to Drakken that was rated for Adults only...and Drakken forgave her...who knows if Drakken found out what Shego did at the end of Mentor of our Discontent

how do you do screen caps?
well what i do is that i put in google:kimpossible screencaps and the first choice is the one i click which is kpfanworld.com i think...there are all the screencaps of every episode;-)

I was wondering the same thing...how to do screencaps. So, I've tried it myself. Right now what I see is a link to the picture. I hope the actual pic shows up when I hit Post Reply. Here you go...my first lame attempt:  Ron: Shego, you look really, really, really tired. Shego: Yeah, I finally found out what Drakken is a genius at. Now SCRAM! Hey, the pic showed up! First of all, this is a kid's cartoon...and second of all, that is just nasty. Shego has too much self-respect (and, I'd like to believe, respect for Dr. D) to do something like that just to manipulate him into letting her work with him again, and Drakken isn't a creep or a pig. He'd never accept that offer, and she'd never even suggest it in the first place. Drakken is sensitive and would probably want a verbal apology. They may be villains and evil, but in many ways, they're strangely decent and innocent people (because this is a kid's cartoon, of course). I'm just going to assume you're joking, because that is simply despicable. |

i mean like, make your own. It depends on how you watch the episodes... Um, I use Media Player Classic (not Microsoft's), and it allows you to save still images of the video you're watching. After that, you can compress it (save it in another, smaller format) with an image viewer like IrfanView. Both programs I mentioned are completely free. |
