well Ninnik is that i was raised in a place where the man commands...places where the women wants to commnad is in USA...this is because if a man does domestic violence to the woman...the autorities will arrest you and send you to jail...but here in Ecuador...that dosen't happend...because that's what the bible says...i'm sorry if i tries to hurt your feelings...but yes we are equal as you say but when it comes to conflicts that's when it depends in word fighting and maybe even a problem of a fight...i would suggest you to think of your ideal man before getting married or else you will see your place in a relationship like D/S
and as for Drakken...he has to respect her from top to bottom...remember that Shego's american...and american girls are the heads of a family...if Drakken does something to Shego...BANG...she'll hurt him and would leave him 75%
Kim looks as keeping the traditional relationship in hands as Ron commands but you know is just a cartoon
remember that K/R is a fuctional couple and D/S are a dysfunctional couple
yes Man and Women are equal...when you try to find your soulmate that would never give you conflicts and problems

Shego would be the head of the house and Drakken the secondhand one...not like K/R that would be follwing the traditional one of Ron being the head of the house and Kim the secondhand(the way it suppose to be) Man=1st Woman=2nd There's no "head of the house" in KP. Whatever couple or pair you see in KP, there is no "man first, woman second" crap going on. Gender is never really an issue in the series, when it comes to status. Whether the girl or the guy is the "leader", the series pretty much teaches that it doesn't really matter. So, Kim and Ron, I see them as equals. Just like Drakken and Shego. Just because some of them have a more dominant personality doesn't mean they dominate their partners. And, really, that kind of "man first, woman second" mentality is very, very outdated. Women are our equals, not second to us. Without them, we wouldn't exist. |

It's very clear that if anyone is dominant at all in the K/R relationship (they do seem equal; like they talk together and make decisions together and respect each other), then it's Kim who's the more dominant one.
She's the leader, and Ron is the sidekick.
This is because of their personalities, not because of their genders.
Ron is laid back and an underachiever, while Kim is a competitive overachiever.
*shrugs*
I have already found the perfect man for me. I live in Norway, where the woman doesn't try to be the boss, and the man doesn't try to be the boss, either. We try to work together as a team and we try to respect each other.
In Norway, both the man and woman are expected to work and both are expected to take care of the children and the house. We have equal roles.

As for the Bible, many people like to quote the part that says "Wives submit to your husbands" but then they forget to the rest of the sentence which says "and husbands, serve your wives." It doesn't establish a pecking order in the house. |

Thanks for saying that about my fic, that means a lot. No prob. I love your fics. Yea, they wouldn't have had enough time to address it to my satisfaction....still like you said something would have been nice. Maybe it would have been too awkward if they didn't spend enough time on it. I dunno. Yea, Drakken can be pretty cute. Normal Christians don't believe that domestic abuse is okay. That is absolute nonsense. I've never heard of American women being "in charge". I don't know where you're getting that idea. If anything it's still more traditional. It's really more of an unspoken thing though. For the most part, relationships are generally pretty equal in the USA. |

*taps finger on chin thoughtfully* why does it really matter who's in charge? as long as they both love eachother... it really doesn't matter.  sorry if you all had already said that, i just wanted to say something that went along with what you were saying. ps, that was really annoying that, man first women second blah blah blah. i'm not an extreme femenist who wears her hair in long braids, wears flannel lumberjack shirts and rants on an on about womens rights. but i wasn't too pleased reading that bit. pps, drakken and shego for life! *bringing us back to topic* what do you think drakkens mom would do if she walked in on them?  |

I have to agree with Ninnik in this one...Drakken wasn't really in love with her he just wanted her to respect him as a servant and sidekick he hired her for...he wasn;t capable for love with her or in Love with her Oh... Have you notice something... in Clean Slate,Shego was stealing from banks and gems without autority of Drakken...meaning that Shego gets her money from stealing...and with all that money,she could've live by herself in a home...but instead she prefers to return to Drakken. Do you think that this was another D/S Love Hint before their canonship in Graduation???   these two screencaps show you that with all that Dinero or Plata as i say here(money) she could've leave Drakken but instead she comes back to him....awwww that's so cute man Shego does love Drakken...also with all that money,she could've form her own alliance and even be a dictator and rule the world...but instead she brings it to Drakken(maybe that's her annual paycheck in her contract...or her annual income tax for her and Drakken) i don't think she might steal after Graduation since she turns good and retires of being bad she would have to work as well as Drakken:-) |

Is it also implied that he went to jail? 72. Grande Size Me Take a look at this.  At the auction, they're sitting together. So inbetween MDAA and GSM they may have made up, signed a truce or whatever... 73. Clothes Minded I'm sure that By the time we get to here we have that D/S interaction we all know and love.
