I added a couple more! MWAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is one of my favorite poses. I just love full body shots because I always draw the figure too big and cut 'em off around the waist or knees. Oh dear me......Monty's seen our DA pages....................

I agree on that point. I myself have problems with the legs. Just drawing a standing pose is very hard, because I never seem to get the part from the hips/waist and down right. It looks too ridiculous every time. Drawing Monty as Monkey Fist is like...10 times easier. Maybe it's because he's part monkey and not so stiff. Well...actually I have problems with all body parts except of the head. I start with the head and often end up cutting the picture there. I need to give myself a serious lesson in how-to-draw bodies. And legs. And feet. And hands. Hehe...I think fan art would scare or disgust him. Monty isn't the easiest to please, but it isn't impossible.

Has anyone else noticed how... unusually long Monty's arms are? I don't think there is anything I HAVEN'T noticed with Monty. Sure, I understand why Monkey Fist has long arms. I don't know with Monty Fiske. I like to think he was slightly monkey-like as ''pure'' human. Slightly. Some people have features like big ears, large eyes, long face, pointed cheek or nose, or chubby features that gives associations to animals. Sometimes, the animal features have some connection with the person's personality or interests. EDIT: I like how the show's style characterizes people, both physically and psychically. But most likely, Monty Fiske's elongated arms may have had something to do with the genetic surgery operation. Just speculation.

Hehe...I think fan art would scare or disgust him. Haha, dude.... he (or... our) Monty won't look at fanart of himself anymore. Scares the sh*t out of him I don't entirely blame him. HAHAHAH.

I hope I didn't make the text too complicated! When I said ''but most likely, Monty Fiske's elongated arms may have had something to do with the genetic surgery operation,'' I meant his arms could have grown a little in length after the operation, caused by the new monkey DNA. Back then, he was still Monty Fiske, not Monkey Fist. Sorry, I'm terrible at putting opinions into words. I don't know if this made any sense. D:

Is it just me, or are Monty's feet HUUUGE in that picture? Hmm, perhaps DNAmy stepped on them... Hahaha. Good one.XD Not just in that picture. His feet were pretty big throughout the whole episode, ' Gorilla Fist'. Well, that's my opinion. Sometimes it bugs me how his look has been swithing from one episode to another, in every episode he's appeared in. In ' The Full Monkey', his look changes from one to more like how he was drawn in ' Monkey Fist Strikes'. In one and the same episode! Let's see (not counting ASiT, the half episodes or the cameos):Monkey Fist Strikes*Something about the forehead *Uh...and the hair. *''Wrinkle lines'' separating his mouth from his cheeks. *Smaller nose *Feet/toes and hands/fingers are longer and slender. A bit more creepy. *Just....everything in general. *The style is a bit stiff here because it's from season 1. That doesn't count. Personally I like it, but that's me. Monkey Ninjas in Space*Somewhat similar to the 'Monkey Fist Strikes'-style, but he had a terribly pointed chin in this one. The eyes were different and very evil. Some other general changes (which is hard to explain!). *Not just that. He changes from Monty Fiske to something in between Fiske/Fist, then to Monkey Fist, and back to Monty Fiske at the end of the episode, but suddenly he changes to ''in-between'' again. Confusing, isn't it? FiskeFiske/FistFiske....Fiske/FistI wrote about the transformation/change differences some pages back in this thread, but I'll put it up again: Seen from a realistic point of view, it could have had something to do with on-and-off Mystical Monkey Power...and mood swings.XD Exchange:Not much. The hair, maybe. A slightly bigger nose? The Full MonkeyAs I've mentioned, his look changes from one to more like how he was drawn in ' Monkey Fist Strikes': "Hawt'' look without wrinkles. Makes him look younger! Wrinkle lines. Good proportions. Gorilla Fist*Big fat feet n' hands. *Monty's height bugs me sometimes. At times he's very tall, other times slightly reduced in height. But, it's good not to be perfect all the time. Big BotherI like how he was drawn in ' BB', but I have nothing to say about the details here. Oh No! Yono!*Hmm, more square and less soft? I have no idea. Like with 'BB' I just like the way he was drawn in this one. It sounds like I don't have a life. It's just that I have a thing with analyzing things of interest. ;D I really don't like criticizing styles, but of all the characters I've ever known, Monty's the one who has changed the most in style. I wonder what the reason could be. It's funny and a bit weird.

LOL well then I don't have a life either because I couldn't have said it better myself, Spicy! ;D I wondered if the changes were really really obvious (like from an artist's perspective) or if I was just being picky. I too tend to focus on things of that nature. Personally I don't like the way he's drawn in "Monkey Ninjas in Space" and the style he's drawn in in the last part of "Monkey Fist Strikes" where he gets his mystical monkey powers is just creepy/horrible but it is his first episode and it is in season one and a lot of the villains change their appearances after their first episode. That's one thing I can say I liked about season 4: Monkey Fist was drawn a lot better, but his proportions change. For example in "Oh No! Yono! in some scenes he's really skinny and in some scenes he's got a barrel chest and a tiny waist like a bodybuilder. ^oop! Steroids?^ ^And......they wore off^ (I hate his mouth but this is the only example of) He beefed up again. Personally though, the thing about Monty that I'm extremly picky about is his mouth though. Sometimes those lines between his mouth and chin/jaw area just don't need to be there. ^Here for example. I feel it would have looked better the line on the left side of his face would have just came straight down and connected to his chin. ^Both of those on either side of his mouth could have been left out. ^And here on his right side. You see my point and I know it's to make him appear more like a monkey but sometimes it could be done without. When they draw Monty Fiske like that he looks fine.....(lol and boy do I mean "Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine") On a side note....WTF is up with his left hand in this scene? I have racked my brain trying to figure it out. Looks like he has like 2 extra fingers or something!

I don't like how he was drawn in ' MNiS' either (Monty Fiske doesn't count here, that side of him is pretty much the same all the way throughout season 1), and I think most fans of KP agree here. Off-topic:Now, the only thing I like with the episode is the moment with Fiske and his monkeys in the beginning (I like monkey bonding moments!). And the ending scene where Monty in an unusual moment of emotional breakdown talks about being abandoned by his army of monkey ninjas, almost in tears, infront of the others who didn't have clue. Then yells out crying : ''NOOOOOOooo!'' I don't know...I just like his really exaggerated, pulled expression here. And the tone in his voice. I found the whole situation pretty priceless. EDIT: And one of your post reminded me...gotta love when he's sitting on the floor in his dojo, in front of his computer! I agree with you on your points on how he was drawn in ' Monkey Fist Strikes'. He DID look very creepy and ugly-fugly. But for some reason...I'm attracted to uglyness, rather than ''hot'' and ''sugarcute''. I don't know why, I just am. So I kinda like it a little. But it's not my favorite look on him. I too prefer how he was drawn in the later episodes, from ' Exchange' or ' The Full Monkey' to ' Oh No! Yono!'. Off-topic: Monkey Fist's personality was also different in season 1. Now, not the dry wit, being a gentleman and all that, but he was more some kind of a scary freak acting somewhat like a monkey monster/beast. To me it seems like he became more man-monkey than what I'd like to call ''man-monkey beast'' as the show progressed. For instance, in ' Monkey Ninja's in Space' after Monty says ''Frederick, you cannot fight destiny. It's just not done. Otherwise things here could get very ugly. Understand?'', there's an off-screen moment where he's breathing heavily. Brrrrr! Sharp monkey fangs occurred at times, usually when really crazy or angry. LOL...steroids! I've noticed the changes in proportions too, I just didn't include it in my text because I didn't think of it. And...it must be something left for other fans to write about! Now, Monty's general body shape is slender, yet athletic, I'd say. I watched that part of ' The Full Monkey' to see if it could be a ''caught in movement''-picture...I don't know what to call it, where both the frames used for changing from one movement to another are visible in one picture (I can't talk animation like a pro). But it wasn't! It rather looks like the animators, storyboarders, clean up artists or whoever was responsible did a mistake, like they forgot to erase the previous hand pose, and it ended up like two poses in one. On the other hand...it doesn't look exactly like that either. Ugh..I and my explanations. But honestly, I can't figure out what on Earth that could have happened. It looks so ridiculously weird....HaHAhaha. Good find!!!

But do you actually think,... even when he was still "Monty Fiske"? It really just seems like it's more just... how he was born or something. Because toher than his large ears (which Ron also has... it's probably just the style) and his enlongated arms.. he doesn't look too much like a monkey when he's "Monty". I think it has something to do with the MMP and when he's more eveil or not. It's kind of interesting that way.... the more "normal" and "sane" he behaves, the more "Monty" he looks... and then when he's doing evil kind of things... he goes all "monkey" on us. Haha.

Monkey Ninjas in Space*Somewhat similar to the 'Monkey Fist Strikes'-style, but he had a terribly pointed chin in this one. The eyes were different and very evil. Some other general changes (which is hard to explain!). Yea... I know. I dislike how they drew him good or.. not so good in different episodes. One of the main reasons why I dislike "MNIS" is because of that weird, pointy, chin!!! UGHHH!! It bugs me!! He looked so creepy in that episode. And, yea.. how he looks older in some. *sigh* And also the height thing. I want to say he's 5'11"-6'1", but it's hard to say with the animators making him look kind of short sometimes. And and and.. the "barrel-chested" thing. haha. Yeaaaa. One minute he looks kind of built, the next minute he's as skinny as a pole x) I've said it before.. and I'll say it again. BY FAR... ONE OF MY FAV PICS OF MONTY... EVER!He looks so hot and young. MMMMMMmmmmmmm!! And the animators def improved over time =)
