OKAY, SOMEWHAT RANDOM QUESTION.......... HOW TALL DO YOU THINK MONTY IS?
Yes, I am quite aware that the drawings of him on the show compared to other regular characters is a little.. off, but approx how tall do you think he is? He always came across taller to me... but sometimes they've drawn him a bit short. I've always assumed that he was approx 6' or 6'1"......? But, who knows.. he could be shorter...? Thoughts? (Since I'm too lazy to make another thread)

I imagined him around 6 feet-ish myself. Yea, like when he's standing up straight (not when he's kind of slumped over..).

Uhm...dunno, I always imagined him to be quite tall (can't say how much, since I'm Italian and I don't use the same units of measurement most of the most of you...darn it!), even though his heigh often changes during different episodes - much like his general appearence. It's quite anoying sometimes. ...hey, I finally found time to post something despite university tests trying to kill me...lol! ;D

He does slouch and walk on all fours quite a bit so any range form 3 1/2 feet to 6ish is fine. lol Lemme ask you this as you are a fellow artist: Would Monty not look f'ed up in real life?! I noticed recently when I did the penguin ninja drawing (my first drawing of his entire body), he's only like 3 heads tall. Could you imagine those proportions on an actual person? XD Uhm...dunno, I always imagined him to be quite tall (can't say how much, since I'm Italian and I don't use the same units of measurement most of the most of you...darn it!), even though his heigh often changes during different episodes - much like his general appearence. What would you consider him in metric units? We can figure it out. Make us lazy Americans use our noodles! lol

Hey, it's you that made the "penguin ninja" drawing on DA? That pic made me laugh so hard! (Penguins are my favourite animals ;D) Thanks a lot! About MF's heigh...using my metric units, I'd say he's about 1.78 mt, which I think is a bit less than 6 feet.

He wouldn't be 6 foot because Drakken is taller than him, see: Even without Drakken leaning over a little

XD Well.... he IS a cartoon. Lol. I always imagined him looking kind of like a rougher, older, british version of Adrien Brody. ADRIEN BRODY SPAM TIME!!!!!!!! lol WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH He wouldn't be 6 foot because Drakken is taller than him, see: Even without Drakken leaning over a little Drakken is most likely taller than Monty, but.. remember, the artists aren't very consistent. And, besides, who's not to say Drakken is like.. 6'2"? Cousin Eddy's pretty tall, maybe Drakken is too.

I agree, Adrien Brody would make a perfect MF. He just needs blue eyes and monkey hands & feet ;D
That's true, his heigh changes slightly in almost each episode.

Also, thanks for the info on the height issue. I have a unit converter on my cell phone and can convert it no problem. ;D

Maybe it's an animating style thing. . . but Monty most of the time reeeeaallly doesn't have any shoulders, it seems... lol. Seriously.. they just slope off x) I always draw him "with shoulders". Lol.

I've noticed that. If I don't have a reference I do that too.

Speculation!'Monkey Ninjas in Space' made me speculate a lot around Monty and on-and-off Mystical Monkey Power. The ending, in the scene where Monty is captured by the security guards, and they stop in front of Ron, Monty Fiske's face suddenly changes to more monkey-like. Not totally Monkey Fist, but someting in between. It happens right after Monty demands his monkey ninjas to attack. His face changes throughout the whole episode, and it starts with him as Monty Fiske, shortly after he's Monkey Fist, and is back to Monty Fiske when he's captured and led down the rocket ramp. As mentioned, his face suddenly changes to something in between Fiske/Fist. It made me think that the Mystical Monkey Power comes and goes for Monty too, and causes him to change from human to monkey man and vice versa. Fangs does also occur when he's really angry or crazy. It just does not seem to be permanent. I wonder if he'll loose the MMP in 'Oh No! Yono!', and turn back to Monty Fiske. I just wonder. But...if I should take 'A Stitch in Time' seriously (it shows that Monty's still Monkey Fist 20 years in the future...) I doubt it'll ever happen. still, personally....I would love a ''dark'' ending like that, with Monty losing everything. But that's just me. I know this is kinda an old post, but it has to be said. If ASiT happened in the timeline then Monkey Fist would have never needed to unearth Yono (or ever gotten the chance, considering how long he probably had that collar attached for), and it does question about if Ron would ever get his full blown powers or not. Oh dear, halfway through typing this I saw a lot of continuity errors revolving around if the ASiT alternate timeline and the events in season 4 tried to mesh together. >.<

I think his shoulders make him seem more primative cos Ron has the same problem, lol.

I don't know why I think this is cute.......but it is! ♥ Sorry to be slightly random, especially if this has already been mentioned, but doe anyone else think that the angle and the pattern of the jumpsuit makes Monty look like he has a rather... feminine figure..? Especially around the chest area. heh.
