If Shego and Kim were related, wouldn't it have come up by now in the show?

If Shego and Kim were related, wouldn't it have come up by now in the show? Not necessarily. I mean, two twins got married in Britain without knowing they were related. (They do now, obviously, and the relationship was annulled.)

While it makes for interesting plots, (especially if you're writing/reading a kigo "bam! incest angst!") Kim's family seems to be way to closely knit to make it believable in the canon that no one ever mentioned it. Besides, Drakken loathes James and his other college buddies, is he really sane enough to put that aside and hire someone actually related to Mr. Dr. P?

Kim's family seems to be way to closely knit to make it believable in the canon that no one ever mentioned it. I agree, but the idea sounds so rich in drama or comedy (or both) that there must be a way to make it work. Besides, Drakken loathes James and his other college buddies, is he really sane enough to put that aside and hire someone actually related to Mr. Dr. P? I'd assume Drakken doesn't know that Shego's related to the Possibles, leading to some wonderful trouble when he finds out: "Another Possible sent to vex me! Have you been working against me the whole time?" Even more plausible, no-one's put it together until the events of the plot. All the Possibles have met Shego before, and no-one realised at the time.

So here we have an interesting twist on this. It's not Kim and Shego that related: Shego and Ron are half-siblings!
