Actually, A.L. that question will be explored somewhat in stories that will follow "Heart of the Fury"

How does the email bot break?
I was wondering why I wasn't getting any responses to my newest chapter, as well as your daily updates.

Just watch the main story page, or just plug in numbers in your address bar (I took today off for some major yard work and to work on a drawing I'm not quite ready to unveil - it's spoileriffic)

I like to check the New Stories and New Chapters pages frequently. I find they show new additions a lot faster than the main page.

"How does the email bot break?"
Glitches in an over-complicated code. Damaged code from too many "upgrades." Being taken down for upgrades and repairs.
I just wish they would put a note on the home page saying they're aware of the problem or something.

To quote that famous saying, "If it's not broke, why fix it?"
FF.net is one example of a website that constainly makes upgrades IMO for no reason. Their upgrades screws up other parts of the site and makes some users' miserable.

Seems they're really broke now. Despite the email bots working, I can't log-in to update my account. I can't send PMs or reply on any of the FF.net boards, etc. Gee... FF.net is a great fanfic site, but the administration have to be real stupid to keep making upgrades and making things worse.

I noticed they changed the review box format a little - looks like they tried to fix something else that wasn't broke and tore up the whole shoot-n-match

Yeah... This is a real pain in the (you know what)... I've got my next chap of "The Logical Monkey" ready for a Beta read, and no one to Beta! Any of you guys willing? (standard threats apply to keep you from posting any spoilers)
Or maybe I could post it here? (hadn't thought of that)...

If you want a beta reader, I've got a little free time this weekend. I still have a couple chapters from yvj to go over ahead of you, but should be able to give it my full attention.

FF.net is seriously screwed up now, I get alerts for new chapters as well as reviews, but I can't respond to any of them! I wonder if I'm even going to be able to post the next chapter up.

Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt. They have never once responded to any "trouble ticket" I've filed with them.

FF.net is a great fanfic site, but the administration have to be real stupid to keep making upgrades and making things worse. I'm having the same problem, I can't log in, everytime I try to, it says "Failure occured during download" BTW, I can't figure out how you PM.

BTW, I can't figure out how you PM. You go to the author's 'author profile' page, and on top of the profile page, you'll see 'Send a personal message'. Click on that, and you'll get the usual box you use for reviews and board posting. I wish they have a better way to send a PM to an author, but this is the only way to do so. IMO, if you and another FF.net user are regularly contacting each other, I recommend using email than the FF.net PM.
