Just to add: It seems there are plenty of folks out there who won't commit to a story until it's marked "complete" On Friday I put a quite long story to bed, one that I averaged at least one chapter a day on, sometimes as many as three, garnering my largest audience to date, yet once I put up the last chapter and tagged it complete, the hits skyrocketed for several days, indicating at least to me some people were passing on it for fear it wouldn't be finished.
