I'm guessing that's what you were thinking. But LOL...will this thing have a hundred chapters or will we just divide it into people? XD |

Placeholder for 057. Lunch. I've been assigned that one by Ninnik and will put it in this post when it gets done. In my head, drabbles are supposed to be 100 words or less. Is that what we're going for here? I haven't read any of the other stories in this thread, admittedly  I'm planning to keep any drabbles that I write to 100 or less. |

.057 Lunch
"Dr. D, would you just make up your mind already?" muttered an increasingly impatient Shego.
"I'll decide when I'm good and ready, Shego! This is a delicate matter!" Drakken sounded equally annoyed.
He continued, rubbing his chin. "This option is a good value, but that one looks to be of much higher quality..."
"THAT'S IT! Drew, you've got 3 seconds to choose something before I kill you!"
As the strange couple in the equally strange hovering car escalated their argument, the zit-faced teen running the MacDowell's drive-thru had only one thought.
This is so not worth $6 an hour.

He enjoyed it at first. She was pleasant, polite, compliant; the cookies he ordered her to bake were delicious. Why did she say she couldn't cook? Wait - she never said she couldn't - just that she didn't.
It was what he wanted - right?
Bored, he tried to provoke her - but she just smiled that bland smile and said "Yes Dr. Drakken" in a monotone. Her face was slack, her eyes dull, her voice flat.
When the mind control chip came off, her eyes blazed emerald, her face contorted with rage, and green flames shot from her clenched fists. When she caught him, he admitted he was afraid. What he couldn't admit, even to himself, was that he liked her better this way.

Thanks! And thanks for the hearts...they're very elegant. ;D I always thought Drakken was kind of a jerk in that episode , and I thought he would have realized, sooner or later, that he preferred Shego's real personality. My husband and I even had a conversation about this type of thing: What do men really want in a woman? Do they want some wishy-washy dishrag who never says anything but 'Yes dear' and 'Whatever you think dear'? A lot of guys think they do. Luckily mine's not one of them. He actually likes the fact that I have a mind of my own and know how to use it. Someone with a personality is much more interesting and exciting to be around. Now, I realize they were not a couple during that episode, but they related a lot like a couple, so I think the dynamic is the same. Clearly I've been thinking about this too much.  |

Mego climbs the stairs of go tower leading toward the bedrooms. I can’t wait for this day to be over, he thinks to himself. As he approaches the top of the staircase, he hears muffled voices. One voice sounds familiar but he can’t place either of the two. Hego is supposed at Bueno Nacho, and the twins are on a camping trip. Who could be here? Mego realizes the sounds are coming from his room. He opens his door to see Drakken and Shego in his bed.
“Hey, bro,” Shego remarks. “Just giving the doctor a tour of Go Tower.”
