I love that Ricardo Montalban is back as Senior - and they got that "Perdition's Flames" reference in there (caught it the first time!) Did anyone catch Wade's Dad's name? Latraine? The interrupted kiss didn't bother me so much, because you know they were going to get back to it quite quickly. Another thing. When the Seniors are at the Load doorstep, the house over Junior's shoulder looks like it could be the Possibles! In mine (and several other fics) Kim discovers she could actually see Wade's house from her bedroom window (lemme put it this way, Monique isn't the one he's crushing on there) I think his name was Lontaine. Sounds French. I'll have to rewatch the episode to see if that looks like Kim's house.

I gave it a 5/5, definitely my favorite episode out of all four of them, I laughed the hardest at this episode. Bun-warmer? Hmm...
The interrupted kiss made me mad though... I figured they went back to it anyway, but I wanted to see it.
Ron wasn't the only one who wanted ear plugs, my ears almost fell off listening to SSJ's singing.
The Wade/Ron friendship in this episode was adorable!
Basically, my fav episode of season 4 so far. The only thing that made me mad was the fact that they aired the eps out of order.

I wanted to see the finish but we know they did and that will have to be good enough for us. I just wish Disney would push the envelope just a little bit and have a 2 second kiss on the lips every 9 episodes. lol. 2 for every 9 episodes should not be unrealistic.

Suddenly I think Junior's cover of that Oh Boyz song was his superior effort (duh!)

I do like that Ron's first reaction to figuring out what Wade was up to was that it was 'sick and wrong.'
I also found it quite interesting that Kim used the bun warmer when it suited her needs.

Well, yeah. Monique was driving everybody insane. I would have done it too.
I loved Ron being like, "OH, KIM'S SO GONNA BLAME ME!"
And then right before Kim finds out, and they are on the couch (well, Ron's lying on the couch, SMILING all big) and then Kim's just sitting in the arm chair. LOL. I have my own thoughts on right before that scene. ;D

I like Ron's expressions after he sees Monique snuggle and kiss Wade, too funny...Ron's eye's were all eye twitching LOL. Seriously Ron has the best expressions when it comes to stuff like that ^^ And yes Ron/Wades friendship is adorable.

There's one thing that's bugging me, and nobody seems to care.
Okay, the Seniors WENT to Wade's house. They went to his house. What's to say other villains won't do that? They apparently know where he lives... and apparently so does Ron. But, I did love SSS's reading a fake note that was a parking violation for 80 bucks!
I think I'm right. They kicked KP up a notch.

I expect Wade has his home protected by a state of the art security system, but since his mother let the Seniors in willingly it didn't read them as a threat. If Wade had been home when they were there, no doubt things would've worked out differently.
BTW, am I the only one who noticed that Wade's grappling line belt was an homage to a similar device worn by Ke Huy Quan (y'know -- Short Round) in "The Goonies"?

You know what's interesting about The Cupid Effect. This is the first episode in which Monique AND Wade both joined Kim and Ron on a mission. Of course, Monique was there no fault out of her own, but still. Things are changin' within the KP world and I like it. Alot.

Commenting on the voice talent aspect of the episode here, I liked Will's reading of "Holy Cannoli!" Very funny.

(Holy heart-failure, Batman!) And in regards to Ashley's comment about the Seniors targeting Wade's home, we should think about it this way: What's to stop the villains from doing the same to the rest of Team Possible? Why couldn't they target Ron and Kim's families while the two of them are away? It would certainly give the bad guys some leverage, you have to admit.

Slightly Off-Topic... But Nutzkie, that one line of Barkin's is a little off... Not only line, but also episode...
"This is a democracy people, now do as I say!" (the rest is "Let's hear some nominations!") -Steve Barkin (From "Royal Pain")

I'm in the minority, but I didn't thought this episode was so great, great. I give it a 4/5, because I felt it went a bit over the top with Wade's crush with Monique. As any boy who have a crush, Wade was no exception to trying to get the attention of the girl. Ron was all for the match, while Kim was not, saying that Wade was 5 years younger than Monique. I was enjoying the matchmaking failures until Wade invented the 'bun-warmer'. I hate to say this, but his invention was morally wrong and he learned his lesson by the end of the episode, much to Monique's relief (or chargin, knowing she's 'dateless'). I don't want to see Wade turning out mind-controlling inventions and going the way of Dr. Bortel (who made *two* mind-controlling devices). Least Ron quite disapproved of Wade's invention when he first heard it, and Kim was totally against it, not to mention Monique who was ballistic she was used like that. Yet it was fun to see his invention get used by Junior to attract ladies for his singing. I actually giggled that Kim, once she was under the bun-warmer's sway, gave Ron a glare while drooling over Junior, but I knew she loved Ron totally anyway especially from accepting the mock-Paris dinner at Bueno Nacho. Oh, did I mention I laughed my a$$ off from seeing Ron and Wade in *drag*? Priceless! ;D So as I said, I give it a 4/5. A point off for being too much over the top with Wade's invention, which made me think he shouldn't have done it to start with. I say he should try again with Monique when he's older. Least 5 years older and more mature. Oh, Wade really learned his lesson if the ending credits blurb was any indication. Having a girlfriend with her own bun-warmer has to be scary for him. ;D (Out of the four ending blurbs of the four episodes, I love this one the best.

I liked how you learn all their ages in that one scene. Wade is 12, and Kim, Ron, and Monique are 17. Therefore 2 years have passed since season 1. LOL. Yeah, I know, that's already known but I'm lame like that because I like confirmation. Oh, my God, yes. Ron and Wade in drag. Perfection. I mean, it's all I wanted to see. Ron dressed as a woman. Yeah... that whole blurb at the end rocks. "You're weird." "KIM!" "Shh... I like weird." I hear that, and I honestly see them making out like animals after that. Haha. You know what's interesting about The Cupid Effect. This is the first episode in which Monique AND Wade both joined Kim and Ron on a mission. That's the cool thing about it. They used to be four, but now they got 7. It's still a small number, but, it is so cool in my eyes.
