Tonight's espiode was a slam dunk. ....okay I was watching the NBA Slam Dunk challenge as well. ;D But anyways, not that much humor but enough. Quality over quanitiy. The Ron/Tweeb relationship was nicely done and handled. And Shego's little disguse that she had to wear....when that was a slam dunk as well!!! ;D The best line came was when Ed was talking to Shego about going undercover, i.e. a disguise. I kinda thought he was referring to something else... ;D As far Ron/Kim moments: I loved Rufus humming "Here Comes The Bride" when the rings came out. This gets a 5/5.

And the wedding ring bit had such a great pause... the confusion in which they stared at each other in horror... hooray for long awkweird pauses! Also, Ron may have just been inspired for a future proposal. Yay! Oooh now that would be good if it did ;D

'Sides, he gave a little car-humor joke that I had to deem as rather inappropriate for the Disney Channel (not that I wasn't laughing hysterically while my innocent little brothers stared at me)

I always thought that Motor Ed was like a HUMAN Lobo in the way he treats ladies. If it wasn't Disney I'd expect Shego to fry his nonos or just kick him there.
Still at first thought I liked his idea of traveling around the county with a hot babe but man, how he was acting. I wanted to slug him but, I think that's why I like his character.

This episode made me cry... from laughing so hard. Even not being such a petrol head kinda guy that episode still makes me want to take my car out onto I-25, which is pretty much straight the whole 75 miles from Ft. Collins to Denver, and just bottom out my speedometer.
My only 'gripe' is when Bonnie's car gets pulled apart, didn't the Mythbusters bust that myth with the giant train?

Here is a random thought that popped in my head when I was watching it.
Shego and Kim are Christmas colors!
Now back to your normal lives.

“It also adds body.”
“Car Alarm” is all about bodies. Well, car bodies. Chassis, to be exact. Kim is finally awarded her own car, although it needs quite a bit of work if she ever wants to actually drive it. Motor Ed returns and works on tricking-out a ride of his own. Shego’s body gets tricked-out, too, in the form of a new outfit and hairstyle. And the entire show gets back to what the “body” of Kim Possible really is: pure, undiluted humor.
Although the fifth episode to air, this was actually the second episode in production order. So, the drastic loss in continuity between previously aired episode “The Big Job”, where Kim was already driving a perfectly fine vehicle, and this episode is fairly noticeable. It does ruin the surprise of the car a little, and thus a bit of the dramatic tension associated with its rebuilding is not fully realized. (Although this fault lies with Disney, and not with the creators.) However, this does not ruin the episode and, at the very least, we now have the explanation for the existence of Kim’s badical ride.
The acting in this episode is again solid. Will Friedle, especially, is playing up that famous Ron humor we’ve come to expect from the character. Ron is fairly frantic this episode and winds up in some crazy, random situations. (Why he still has that scooter, and why it now shoots bubbles… I don’t know.) Not counting the previously aired (again, out of order) “Trading Faces”, this episode marks the first appearance of Jim and Tim, Kim’s younger twin brothers, or simply the “Tweebs.” Previously voiced by Shaun Fleming, he has been replaced for the fourth season by Spencer Fox. And since the Tweebs tended to be mostly background characters for the first three seasons, the change isn’t wholly noticeable. Fox does a fine job here, conveying that sly arrogance that comes with being boy geniuses. And also a good job instilling the slowly growing respect the Tweebs are going to gain for Kim through the season. In fact, the whole Possible clan is reintroduced in this episode, with Jean Smart playing a frustrated Mrs. Dr. P for beaucoup laughs at the opening of the episode. Meanwhile, Mr. Dr. P becomes central to the plot of the episode, not only in helping Kim acquire her new set of wheels, but also in the villain’s scheme. And Gary Cole retakes the role with great aplomb, imbuing James Timothy Possible with that old-fashioned, Rockwellian-influenced paternal charm. Also making a return are all the favorite villains from yesteryear. Dr. Drakken finds himself imprisoned with chatty cell-mate and thrift-minded villain Frugal Lucre. (Although they only appear briefly.) Drakken is voiced as well as ever by illustrious voice-over artist John Dimaggio, while Richard Kind (of Spin City fame) is back as Lucre, giving him that lovable loser appeal. And Shego gets another starring role (again, this being her first appearance this season if not for the out of order airing of “The Big Job”), proving that she can loom large outside of Drakken’s shadow. Nicole Sullivan continues to play Shego with that smoldering sarcastic wit and understated sexuality that makes the character so much fun and alluring. Although, there seem to be hints of boredom and even remorse from Shego for her chosen profession. (Or perhaps, because of her colleagues.) Finally, Motor Ed also makes a big comeback (in a big robot), John Dimaggio again laying waste to all around him with his rockin’ vocal talents. When you’re Motor Ed, go big or go home!
Some more good animation and camera work in this episode. Motor Ed’s robot is a pretty sweet piece of work. Kim Possible’s “miraculous save-of-the-day” is well animated, with proper bounce, squash and stretch, and an oddly placed rabbit. Some zero-g action goes off very smoothly. The episode also contains quite a bit of believable, reactionary physics. (i.e.: people get pushed back in their seats when things go really fast.) Also, a very nice, cinematic close-up on the Tweebs finishes off the second act. “Car Alarm” has solid animation, but does not reach the heights in quality set by “Ill-Suited” before it. (Which, in all honesty, required much more subtle nuance and a more dramatic approach.) I have a feeling that the level of animation achieved by “Ill-Suited” will only be matched by some of the more important episodes this season. (Namely, the two-part season finale.)
The most impressive aspect of “Car Alarm” is the writing, most notably the humor. This is a true return to form for Kim Possible, throwing all the drama of, well, So the Drama and “Ill-Suited” out the window in exchange for wall-to-wall hysteria and wacky villain action. It should be noted that, aside from one scene bound to make Kim/Ron fans cry out in joy, the relationship takes a backseat (ha! Car puns… wow.) in this episode. However, that is telling in and of itself. All the insecurities Ron had in “Ill-Suited” seem to have completely melted away (much like his nightmare world Kimthodrone) and he has comfortably slid, ever so sloth-like, into the boyfriend position. This allows for a larger focus on the introduction of Kim’s car (her most important new gadget this season) as well as the action and humor. (The show’s strongest points.) From a hypersonic drag race to a Hitchcockian encounter for Ron, this episode has both in spades.
A solid, second episode for Season 4. Although not as dramatically significant as “Ill-Suited”, it does best what KP… does best. It makes us laugh. Long and hard. With youthful abandon.

"How long can it take to eat burnt pizza?!" "If you let me go I'll show you!" Another great S4 episode. It isnt my favourite of the 5, but it does give us all we could want as KP fans It also made me understand that line in 'The Big Job': Wade: "Last night, somebody busted shego out" Kim: "And drakken?" Wade: "Nope, just shego" Ron: "Again?" "Ah, that's so random!" Why does that sound so familiar? You see, this place is the way it is for a reason! ;D Finally, I'll join everybody by saying that there were a lot of cl-ass-ic moments... darn filter

Two pages of reviews and no one brought up the single greatest piece of hilariousness so far... Ron and the Crows! ;D Had me rolling every time it came up, Brilliant work! Although it seemed culled from Family Guy (Peter and the raccoon), it was still so funny and random. Got me every single time. "Ah, that's so random!" Why does that sound so familiar? That was the best line. For me, anyhow. I'm totally posting that up as Ron officially endorsing "Random Much?"

I LOVED how Ron reacted to the rings.. I think a proposal is in order in the near future. Maybe Disney will let us K/R shippers have our dream come true. Plus I think the moment Ron would propose would some how get messed up, but he would be totally sweet..I just love him... and Jake.. (hehe!)

This episode was great. the tweebs were much better than usual, the Ron moments were brilliant and Motor Ed/Shego was hilarious. I kinda wish Motor Ed said "Rack" instead of "Chassis" but it's still the same joke. Great subtle sex jokes by them, score!

This episode could be THE episode for Motor Ed/Shego shippers. I don'T know why, but for any reason it looked several times like Eddie really likes Shego...he just got no idea how to be sensitive enough to show it to her in a way that doesn't make her angry. The episode was a great episode for Shego-fanboys anyway! Shego had some of her best moments of the whole show! I just wish we had a full shot of her in her new clothes. ;D By the way: Wasn't something like this in "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within"? Of course only without the bad-hair-side effects There were so many things I love about this great episode! GREAT Episode!

I think the magnetic ring part was my favorite part out of the whole episode! How much more shippy can ya get?! And poor Ron, could he develop a new fear for crows?! There were some funny moments, but the humor wasn't on par with the first four episodes for some reason. Even the bubble-horn thing was grasping at straws. Not a strong plot either, I expected more from Motor Ed. And the ending credits gag wasn't laugh-out-loud hilarious. It was a good episode though.
I'd give it a 4/5 - but because I'm such a sheep, I'll give it a 5/5!
