Yeah, you were harsh on the episode. You were mean to it. It doesn't like you. I like this episode. It's like on my top ten list.

I agree with Ashley. This may be one of my favorites--not just in this season, but the entire series.

It is my professional opinion that you have excellent taste! God Bless you, Swenlin! I think he just did. I'm out working at one of my "offices" and not only saw Alexis Bledel order a drink to go imdb.com/name/nm0088127/ but then actually met (the incredibly friendly) Gina Ravera imdb.com/name/nm0712406/ who was studying a new script for The Closer (on which she plays Detective Daniels). So, it's been a good day!

It is my professional opinion that you have excellent taste! lol, I'm sure you're enjoying the rave review this episode is getting. ;D I think that Ill-Suited is probably a better stand-alone episode to see if you don't know the show at all, but if you're familiar with the canon, then Mad Dogs & Aliens is a stand out - there's just so much going there - even if I had had nothing to do with this episode, there's just so much inherant juiciness with the situation that I'd find the episode irresistable - Drakken's first full blown episode of the season coutesy of an alien jailbreak, Drakken and Shego at odds working out their issues, great fights with an alien warrior kicking both Shego and then Kim butt, Kim and Shego on the same side in the end, Battlesuit with an invisibility upgrade, the entire planet hanging in the balance! Of course, the Ron dealing with the issues of growing up and moving on/passing the "mouth foam" torch to the younger generation. Oh, and the mud wrestling... tasteful and situationally appropriate mudwrestling... but my point is... Um... what was my point? I love this episode. It was my first story editing assignment on Kim, and since I was story editing myself I was very personally invested in the material. Mark and Bob helped me to write the kind of episode I really like. Hmmm... now that I think about it... I think, in general, I really felt like I won the episode lottery in most of my season 4 assignments. I recall being bummed that I didn't get to write Car Alarm, simply because I really enjoyed writing for Motor Ed on S3's Steal Wheels but, at the same time, while C.A. was being written, I was getting to write the Season 4 premeire episode, so you weren't going to hear me complain! ;D Um... to make a long story... uh... "end" - I guess I could have just said, "Yes, I enjoy any rave review our work gets."

I'll let you know when I see one. Maybe I shouldn't link to mine, then... Not a problem! I've got my browser set to "ego safe" mode where it filters out anything other than glowing adoration for Brian! For example, I just reread your (surprisingly brief) review and learned that the acting was strong in this episode, the Warmonga character was well-created and most of the episodes I have written have been the best that the series has to offer. Sounds like a pretty solid thumbs-up if you ask me!

Yeah, but in order for it to work, you've got to actually run into them every four years....
