Part of the reason, I watch KP is the fact that Kim has no ulterior motive for saving the world.
Every single superhero out there feels obligated to save the world. Like they have to do it. But, Kim she does it because she likes it and I like it.

I guess Kim is just a good girl. If she can help people, she will. Remeber 'Queen Bebe'... How Ron tries to teach her how to simply say NO when someone asks for a favor she feels she can do and ends up doing 'a little' too many things. Fortunately, she is able to achieve incredible things. She is Kim Possible, she can do anything! ^__^
On the other hand, Ron being everyday's man is what appeals the most about him to me. He goes on mision not only to be with his best friend, because he is a natural nice boy. He might have been influenced by Kim and thus he also tries to help others in his own way at times. Just a little strange at times, but that's not bad at all And he is an extremely funny! I really enjoy his antics. And his MMP story line rocks in my opinion. Sorry to diagree with you, maetch.

Except she never seems to kick Bonnie-biscuit. I know. I'm sure Kim secretly would LOVE to slug Bonnie a hard one. You know how one's subconscience acts around people like her.

But, Kim she does it because she likes it and I like it. I don't recall Kim ever actually saying she LIKED being the hero, in the sense of actually looking forward to the next mission. She always just seemed as if she enjoyed it for being there, but not for actually being forced to do it. Without a believable motive, Kim's got no real reason to be playing hero. Part of the fun in fanfic writing for KP is exploring that possible reason. We all know about Ron, but we never seem to know much about Kim.

I like that. Reminds me of when fans started talking about Ron secretly being a genius! Well I think he is ;D How else would it explaine he was able to kick Monty's butt while keeping a hold of his sister and saky at the same time? Any ways I love Ron's destney plot. I mean it can't be all Kim all the time, not every one loves her character as much. I'm glad we get to see Ron do a bunch of butt kicking and has a destny himself. Its pretty cool. And Ron is very relatable, I've checked many message boards that say they can relate to Ron the most and that's why they like him the best other than his humor.

Kim's good to the core. I especially noticed this in Big Bother, the way she just says "Ron!" after finding all those Sackys in the closet. She was absolutely mortified with Ron's cheating.

Dang girl, make up your mind, you stand for good, foiling evil and villany, and yet you like the bad boys. Ow, now my head hurts.

I think she likes the "pokes dead stuff with sticks" kind of evil instead of the "want to rule the world" kind of evil. I mean, if she really fell for bad boys, she'd be snogging half the villains she faces. Then again, Drakken is the same age as her father, and that's just icky...

She has things for the minor bad boys but not for the take over evil villains. In the episode The Big Job,Ron had Wade jack the reservation line for him and Kim replied "Aw Thats So Sweet"

One little thing bothers me in the eppie, and I don't know if it should or not. When they're in Ron's new room, Kim deliberately removes his hand from her shoulder (much like she would do before they were a couple)

Methinks that Kim is afraid of being intimate with Ron.
Or maybe that's what Freud would think.

Neither do I actually lol *goes to play over*
EDIT: OMG Argy, that was nothing! She only took his hand off her shoulder casually. She even held it for a second or two - plus she was moving away.

Personally, I think Ron's parents should have informed him he was going to live with the Possibles. Oh, the...Possibilities!
