Well I HAVE tried, but Algebra is just EVIL I mean you gotta learn all these formulas and steps and X equals the square root and All you really need to know for Algebra is that it's about reshaping equations without actually changing them. The equations are just shortcut tools to speed the process, and you should have them available for reference anytime you need to use them. Really, Arithmatic is a MUCH bigger headache than Algebra. When did this thread become an Algebra Tutoring session? lol ;D

*Points to the Mathter* He started it!
But yeah, we do need to get back on topic guys. If you've seen it already, post, if you haven't, hold tight until it airs in your locality or you find another way to see it.
Maybe I should start an algebra thread somewhere, it'd be good to keep my skills up during the summer...
Edit: Done. "Algebra" thread is created in General Conversation. So can we get back to the episode reviews?
I think Mr. Stoppable is starting to get into the parenting mode for Ron. I can't say much for his mom, she still seems to be rather -itchy, but Ron's dad has certainly made many attempts to be a part of Ron's life, at school, home, and on missions, which is great that he wants to participate in the upbringing of his son.

I just notice in Mathter And Fervent when Hego was fighting the lame henchman he seems weak and his hands was not glowing.

I just saw it, and it was good. Kim's reaction to Mathter always using math terms, and Kim calling Mather a lam villain, priceless.
Ron in the bubble, have we seen that before? In her brief appearence, in my opinion Bonnie shows a little bit of a soft side.
But that best part, was the end when Brakin said Mr. Stoppable rocked.

I like. ;D 4/5 for me. Overall, I'm labeling this episode as gently poking fun at the comic book superhero genre. That happens when Team Go pops up. Heavily themed villains--in this case, Mathter. And, of course, they come with their own themed villain puns. It's a staple of the genre. And so here, TPTB go completely over the top with it. Practically every other sentence this guy spoke was a math pun. And what about the traditional stalwart superhero zooming about saving the day? We see a bit of the other side--Hego is bored out of his mind with everyone gone and nothing to do. Oh Boyz? Not something you picture Superman singing--but don't you think even Superman might sing in the shower or something? No? What about Clark Kent? It could happen. And another trope, not limited to superhero comic books but basically all younger entertainment--the oh-so-convenient end solution. The one where whatever moral's been explored through the episode, or whatever extra character was brought along for the ride for little to no reason, or what have you is suddenly the key to the big showdown. Here, a highly skilled mathematician decides to come along with Kim and Ron and is perfectly suited for the one mission he comes on. Kim and Ron even commented on it: Kim: Okay, did you have any idea your dad had it in him? Ron: No, but then again, who knew we'd be facing a crazed math villain? Kim: Yeah, so convenient. Overall, I'm saying the policy for this episode was take a bunch of tropes and mix in reversal and light sarcasm. If they'd tried to do all this super-seriously, I would've been annoyed and disgusted, but I saw it as light parody. And light parody makes everything better. I guess. Plus, the music was awesome in this episode. Oh, and I think Hego was in swimming trunks, not his boxers. It looks like he's trying to recreate the cruise he's missing out on--his feet kicked up on the table like he's on a beach chair, finger puppets of his absent family, sipping a fruity drink with a little tropical umbrella in it, and, if you continue the imagery, sea-horse swimming trunks. That's what I saw, anyway. And my final thought for now--I actually think Mr. Stoppable's actions in this episode weren't all that contrived at all. Think about it. He's a mild-mannered actuary who was probably lame his entire life (we know he never wore his prom tux, at least, so he probably didn't have much of a life in school at least). He eventually settled into a job as an actuary, found a wife, and started a family. And what happens when a son--Ron-- comes along? Well, at the very least, Ron's parents are fairly reserved, and that doesn't mix exceedingly well with such an extroverted, heart-on-the-sleeve type like Ron. At most... well, the vibe I get about Ron's home life is that he wasn't extremely close to his parents. And then, of course, Ron has his other family, the Possibles, whom Ron thought of first when he wanted to pick a hero. A rocket scientist, a brain surgeon, genius twins, an owner of a robotic ranch, a martial-artist grandmother, and, of course Kim herself. Ron spends most of his time with them. He's a permanent fixture at their house, their meals, their holidays, everything. So there's two families, complete opposites--the quiet, uninteresting Stoppables, and the lively, out-of-this-world Possibles. And who does Mr. Stoppable's son spend most of his time? Who does he probably look up to more? Where does he like being more? Kudos to Ron's parents for never getting on Ron's case about it--it's obvious that the Possible's atmosphere is good for him, and I bet the Stoppables can see that and let Ron spend his time with them. But it's got to hurt sometimes, watching your son spend his life with another family. And then this hero stuff comes and slaps him in the face--"Sorry, Dad, but you're not my hero. You come in second to Mr. and Mrs. Doctors Possible, and to my girlfriend, and some businessman I've met once, and heck, even some blue guy who spends his time singing Oh Boyz and sitting around in his swimming suit because his family up and left for a vacation without him. In fact, you're so second to them that I'm going to be totally oblivious when you try to get my attention on the hero thing, and totally embarrassed when I do notice." That's gotta sting. So Mr. Stoppable tries to be heroic. Tries too hard, in fact. Um... yeah. I'll stop ranting now. I'm glad they're putting in more stuff with Ron's family this season, though, the poor boy needs to remember he has one besides the Possibles.

Yeah, Bonnie seemed to feel a bit sorry for Ron. Mocking a boy trapped in a hamster bubble would be lame. Bonnie: "Uh no, it's too easy."

She didn't feel sorry for him, imo. It just wasn't worth her time to mock someone who looked so obviously ridiculous. ^^

Is it just me? Or did Ron seem to care more about what people thought of him in this ep? He's growing up!

Yeah, he backed away from Kim when he got his ability. He didn't want to hurt her!

I say it's a 4/5.
I liked it pretty much, but I wanted to skip over some parts. It was okay, not exactly great, but I liked it. Nice shippy hug.
Oh, and Nabu, there's some poser on somewhere with the name Nasuban posting videos of Stop Team Go and Mathter and Fervent. I almost fell for it. Think, you're so famous, people are pretending to be you.

Really funny and good episode, Hego seems to become my favorite "Good Team Go Member" because he's just too... "It's the Mayor!" Oh and the Voice Activated Lights, a great start for an episode like this. Ah there were just too many funny things in it, I simply say it was really good. Nothing more will come to my mind at the moment anyway.
5/5

I have to agree, good hits with the jokes. Seems the coefficients weren't even a factor in the fight. It should have been a sine of things to come. The Mathther obvious hadn't heard of Kim Possible, and how secant do anything. And it seems that Mr. Stoppable was integral to the plot. I guess it was four-tun-eight that e came along. I felt sorry for Ron; Mathter turned him into a cross product. (Although why Rufus didn't get affected this time, I don't understand.) While some people may have thought that the plot was derivative, I found it |funny|. (Note: those are supposed to be absolute bars. Thus, absolutely funny.) Wow, all these math puns and I didn't even need to go on a tangent.

Quite a heartwarming episode. Nice to see Ron's dad playing a major role in it. Kim and Ron interaction was good. Good to see Bonnie has some restaint in her insults. I also like Barkin's reaction to Ron's paper. Only thing missing was Hana and I hope we see more of her soon .

Bonnie: "HE GOES" "HE GOES" "HE GOES" "HE GOES" "HE GOES" Kim: "Bonnie your hero" (something like that) Ron: "No, EWW"
