I wrote this letter for the fans willing to save KP from being cancelled. I’m not just saying this because I support the 65 episode limit rule but as a huge fan also. I think that we should give it a rest in saving the show because after all they’ve already decided it to cancel the show. I know it’s not my business to tell you to stop sending e-mails to Disney for an extended season but just like every other cartoons there is always an end to it. I know it is too early to end and the showing of the finale was too soon but like other TV networks it’s time to move on. I know some cartoon shows aired so many episodes but those kinds of cartoons was loved by many adults and kids because of the humor(South Park) and non-sense behavior(The Simpsons) unlike Kim Possible there is a story to follow and you can actually learn from it. The decision to show the finale early enough (65) to let us know, the fans, that they want to make it perfect. Let’s just say that there is an extension, after reaching 133 episodes there is a large decrease of ratings was shown and the merchandise sales hit a new low. I know this will not happened because there are a lot of Kim Possible fans out there but there is also a time that a cartoon is bound to get result like this. Disney use this rule to make every other show like Kim Possible to be remember forever for us die hard fans and they don’t like to get mistake in spending a lot of money to make SOME people happy in returning there favorite shows. Let’s face it not everybody watch Kim Possible and there will be a time new shows will replace it. I hope that you will realize it that Disney isn’t trying to kill Kim but to save Kim by letting us remember her and I know that also Kim Possible and the casts will never forget us too. So for me, I respect their decision and I will just wait for the Season DVD’s to be release. Kim Possible, a show love by some but will be remembered for a very long time.
Pls. correct some errors if I wrote any and hope that there will not be any flames(angry or get mad) on me for this I'm just giving my point of view

While I can see your point, as of right now I feel very differently.
Kim Possible could stand to have another two or more seasons before going stale.
And, I'm sorry, but I disagree that Disney is trying to keep the show from going stale....they're only in it for the money as evident by the new (and IMO crappy) shows they're producing. I mean, Brandy and Mr. Whiskers hasn't had a new episode in quite a while, Dave the Barbarian was cancelled before it got past season 1, I don't see Naturally Sadie lasting much longer and one of the shows they were producing got cancelled before it even started.
And, forgive me for sounding rude and all, but don't hold your breath for KP season DVDs. Look back on old Disney shows...have any of them ever had box set releases? No.
While I agree some shows need to be ended to preserve them, Kim Possible isn't one of them yet. I mean look at all the possible storylines....how Kim and Ron's relationship grow, how Drakken and Shego met, etc. The possibilities are numerous. I realize that sooner or later Kim Possible will have to end, but 65 episodes seems waaaaaay too soon!
Kim's ratings are golden! They can definately produce many more KP episodes. Look at Cartoon Network's show Teen Titans. I mean we're going on Season 5 when it was originally supposed to be 3 or 4 seasons long, but they looked at the ratings and knew they could easily sell it more.
Don't take this as a flame, because that's not the intent. Everyone has their own opinions and I'm voicing mine. But I must admit, you are the first person I've ever encountered that actually supports this 65 episode rule.

I also disagree. This is a show worth saving. Ratings and DVD sales do not lie. The show has not had a good run because 65 episodes is not enough for Kim. The show should easily get 5 seasons (at least) due to the fan base and that it is bigger than many other Disney shows.

Yep, gargoyles has all 3 seasons on DVD. It did take them like 10 years to release it though.

Wasn't Disney supposed to have Tailspin season 1 on DVD soon?

And actually, when I emailed Disney about KP Box sets, they said, and I quote "KP DVD Box Sets are not available AT THIS TIME" So, MAYBE they might make them if we press hard enough. And I mean, since they made 3 DVD's of episodes, what is really such the big deal about making a box set?

Yah, I emailed them asking them to consider a complete series release. Can't hurt.

Lizzie McGuire has DVD box sets for season 1. Oh. Well I thought those were just random episode like the KP ones. Sorry. And I honestly didn't know about Gargoyles considering I've never watched it and wouldn't know.

So do I. Me alone could hand the creators (Who may i remind you stand behind it 100%. NO ON 65!) a huge number of viable, creative, storyline following ideas with half a brain. No real fan who activly watches the show can say that the end should be like this. At the very least, release an episode post-prom. At least that, it would probably be as big as So The drama was opening night. I don't know the ratings, but every other animated show on the channel i hate! and Suite life and Phil are very debatable. I, for one, wil throw the channel out if they cancel it for good. (At this point.) That's what i say, who agrees!
