Yeah saw the books, nearly bought them. didnt.
I really like the idea of a kim possible anime, if it was like mystical that would be pretty cool. People should do more KP anime fanart. In fact I'll draw some later. P.S Rinacat's style ROCKS!!!!! ;D

I don't like the idea sorry. They already did an episode almost in anime, it was an exllent episode. It was Mr.Loters favorite episode in fact, so maybe they will do another episode like that in season four who knows. It was cool seeing Ron in anime fighting off those monkey's.

It depends. I guess that most people here who say they hate anime only know the common crap like Yugi Oh (?) or this Magical Girly stupid stuff If KP goes Anime I fear the style would be the same like these examples. Now if you have a bit knowledge of anime you will most likely know that other series (or films) exist with much higher quality than these above mentioned. I am especially fond of the Cowboy Bebop Style, or even Noir was good, too. This series tend to have a much more adult style, and I have to admit it would be cool to have KP in this kind of style. But it wouldn´t work due to the target-group of KP. Maybe a more experimental Style like in Paranoia Agent would work and appeal to adults and juveniles alike... Like the artworks though edit: I guess the mentioned episode was "Exchange"

Actually it was done by Otago Press first. Do not buy it,. They cut too much and it stinks like hell. By the way, there uis a rumour that KP might be going into anime. How sure? Nobody knows

They didn't do an episode in anime style, they did an episode (Exchange) that has one scene that's a takeoff on the anime movie Akira (the scene where Ron gets all glowy and stomps his foot down on the snow), which is one of Steve Loter's favourite movies. And also, KP has been heavily influenced by anime from the start. But unless the crew decides to do an episode in anime style to poke fun, I don't think there should be a separate anime version. KP's style is its own, and I think it should stay that way.
That being said, it'd be real interesting to see designs by Steven Silver of the KP characters in his vision of what they'd look like in the anime style...

I don't think we need an actual anime episode. We have plenty of good fanartists who draw good anime style as earlier posts in this thread have proven.
Also, the chance for a anime styled scene was passed up. They could have done this in Dimension Twist.
One last thing. The creators once mentioned that four animation companies tried out to do the animation; but they only settled for two. The reason they said was that only these two did the "flat look" they were going for. I always wondered if the other two studios tried doing the shows in anime style, and it was passed because of this.

I would like to point out that anime is not a style. It is a cultural subsection of animation. What you are referring to is animation style, specifically artist style. There are distinct differences between Go Nagai, Akira Toriyama, or Masamune Shirow. Anime specifically refers to animation from Japan. It has a definite artistic style in which you can see the evolution of throughout the years. Just like many Renaissance or Medieval art is similar in themes and techniques, anime does have qualities that uniquely identify that artistic style. But it also has a wide range from the polygonal style of Super Milk-chan to the realistic style of Gin-roh.

I'm interested in learning about it, and although I haven't really dug that deeply yet, I still haven't stumbled across a source of info that shows easily the various types of Japanese comic art.
