I think it was just what he said. When you first start dating if the date's kid pops in and calls you his new mom, it's gonna freak you out. Unless you're really, really a kid lover. That's a lot to take. Not to mention the kid it came from... He's a handful.
The baby otters were SO cute. I want one.

The idea of Shego as a mom was adorable, pity she didn't think so ^^

I can understand Shego's reaction. I'd be freaked out in such a situation too LOL. And yay for baby otters! They were soo cute! The Rufus-chase was classic. So retro! And yes, Shego seemed kinda jealous that Drakken and Lucre were bonding. She doesn't want anyone different from her being Drakken's partner/sidekick.

I've always wanted a ferret/otter as a pet.

I love this ep! Definitely one of my top 5 fav S4 ep! My favourite quote, which is a nice reference to Ron's "Out there, in here" quote in StD : Kim : "You help choose....you!" I love Shego's quote too : Shego : "Ouy...things I do for evil" ...and Shego has a soft spot for flowers! Awwww! Oooohhhh...Shego and Martyn Smarty almost kissed! Love it!!!! HAWT HAWT HAWT! ;D Noticed Nick Filippi makes another appearance again! Well, the same scene from "Bad Boy", that is. Mentor of Our Discontent Bad Boy I also love several references to previous eps and other shows like : 1) Drakken's use of acronyms (BTDT, BFF, URC) - Steal Wheels (Monique and Kim)2) Shego holding the Diablo toy - So The Drama3) Ron's awe on the baby otters - Tick-Tick-Tick (Ron : "Why not otters? They're fun!)4) Barkin : "Rise of the machines" ( or so I think he said that! ) - Terminator 3 (Rise of the machines)5) Frugal : This is why I can't have nice things - Mad Dogs & Aliens (Drakken's quote)Overall, this is a great ep. I give this ep a "5"!

3) Ron's awe on the baby otters - Tick-Tick-Tick (Ron : "Why not otters? They're fun!)Also a reference to "The Big Job": "Garcon, this baby otter isn't gonna colour itself!"

*insert the sound of Ninnik lamenting melodramatically* Sigh. Oh, Shego, I'm losing respect for you this season. First teaming up with Motor Ed and wearing skank wear, and then going after a Patrick Stewart-lookalike with a bratty kid just because he has money...what next, Shego, what next? ;D No offense to Patrick Stewart, btw, I like him. ...but at least Drakken has hair, dammit.

3) Ron's awe on the baby otters - Tick-Tick-Tick (Ron : "Why not otters? They're fun!)Also a reference to "The Big Job": "Garcon, this baby otter isn't gonna colour itself!" And in Cap'n Drakken when Barkin says "right rutter" and Ron thinks he said "white otter." Ron just really likes otters. ;D Hey loser7, love the avatar. Can't stop staring at it....so entertaining....

The otter thing is a nice running gag this season, like Drakken and his shampoo.

The otter thing is a nice running gag this season, like Drakken and his shampoo. Yeah! I noticed that too. Drakken's shampoo keeps coming back to haunt him....

Another reason I really liked this episode:
Barkin, not only do they play up on his PTSD (post-traumatic stress syndrome - presumably from when he was in the service, ref Two to Tutor) like they did in Fashion Victim, Bad Boy ("Incoming!!! People!"), and a few other episodes, but they are finally giving him some props.
I just loved it when he saved Ron and Arty from the Stock-bots. Steve Barkin - Action Hero. I mean, after all he's a big dude. They should let him kick some A__ more than they do.

I think Barkin is gonna kick Alien Arse in the finale...
Though the stock bots were clever, it was a good think Arty got in, or Kim woulda been taking a LLOOOOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGG nap... (catch my drift?)
'Twas a hell of a epi, 5/5

Good point, I have been noticing Barkin going crazy lately too. It's so funny, cuz he always tries to act like the most stone-faced, serious, pulled together guy and then he totally freaks out. Priceless. ;D

I've always wanted a ferret/otter as a pet. Ferrets are a handful. Never get more than one or they'll completely forget that a human is around and run amuck together. They're only sweet and or cuddly when they're a solo pet. Barkin's been a little wierd lately. It's kinda funny... And disturbing. I hope he gets to do some alien fighting.

I see him using his military experience to help in the final fight. I think Barkin's getting a lot of screentime this season 'cause he's being set up for a big role in the finale.

Barkin has been getting a lot more screen time and I don't know why but for some reason I picture Barkin going all Rambo in the finale and helping Kim and Ron take on the aliens.
