Hello everyone.
This is my first time on these boards, but I've been a member for months, just sitting here and looking at the boards, trying to work up the courage to write this. I did type up something one time, but i had to leave and there was a power loss, so much for that.
I'm a going-on-35-year-old who rediscovered my love for cartoons after college, which was also about when I started being active on the Internet, about nine years ago. My handle is universal; wherever you see 'Nftnat' on the net, it's me; and it's the only moniker I use here. My passions include history (pretty much going back to the beginning of time), music (southern gospel, country, CCM, oldies rock & roll, classical, etc.), toons (Warner first, but I'm all about the old school stuff that used to open for movies, and lots of other schtuffs), DC Comics (curiously, I've never actually bought a comic book, but I collect the shows and information on them), general information - all I want to know is everything. Oh, and nothing is before my time; I am an historian.
Someone here might have seen something or other that I posted to Toon Zone or write on ff.n or whatever. My loyalties have always been in the Warner camp, although I have always recognized and admired the magic about the Mouse, going back to when I was watching reruns of the original Mickey Mouse Club in the '70's
This particular show I discovered - I think it was toward the end of the second season; I know it was after ASIT. I have found myself getting drawn more and more into it with every passing day, week, month, and year. That has included fanfics, of course; and I've loved many of the stories written by, well, probably the same favorites as numerous others on here, and I include some of y'all in my favorite authors. I'm not going to start naming names for fear of leaving some out, and because once I get started...
Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting to know y'all, and vice versa. The way things stand now, y'all will be hearing from me. I'm going to contribute on these boards, and as to writing, I have ideas and lots of them. Despite my years of following every second of the show, I still can't seem to get a handle on how the characters talk; so I'll be needing some help in that department. I must say, though, that I am notorious for not finishing projects. Just ask the Hey Arnold! fans about The Brainy Saga (I know it's been over two years now, but I'm about to submit the next chapter, I promise!) or Episode Notes (That hack job wasn't my fault! I'm trying to get the project restarted, but so many things come up). Y'all might be disappointed when I flake, and it will probably happen.
So that's me. I'll be seeing y'all around.
