My high school grades where excellent. Only A's and B's. ... Except P. E. And why was that Drakken? Physical education wasn't my strong point.

Time for a computer quiz! This one is incredibly easy, since this class was created when I started typing this post so you haven't had long to study. 1. How many bits on a byte? 2. How many bytes in a megabyte? 3. Define "hertz." 4. SD and DDR are two common types of __________? Bonus: Which is the faster one?

...no, SD and DDR are NOT two kinds of dance games. I know what they are types of. I just don't want to give the answer away for people actually taking the quiz. Did Mr. Barkin even give you authorization to give a pop quiz?

DRR being much faster. The real bonus question should be: What is half a byte called?

The real bonus question should be: What is half a byte called? a nibble Correct. Yet something tells me you Googled that... Still correct.

Did Mr. Barkin even give you authorization to give a pop quiz? I did not, which is why I answered it. However, for future reference, people may post academic questions here. But I'd prefer if the official quizzes are left to my discretion.(Which means post away, but don't call it a quiz.) Thank you.

Correct. Yet something tells me you Googled that... Still correct. Why should I google a question like that? Primarily because 4 bits is a unit measure that's been obsolete for some time. Unless, of course, you've been doing hexidecimal programming. I had to substitute for that class more than I care to admit.

Only TP himself.

I was expecting him to let others attempt to answer first. Of course I didn't expect to stump him. I doubt even my computer science university textbooks could manage that.
